Have you registered? (theiconisback.com.my) For the Das Auto show in conjunction with the new beetle launch? Admission is free, come yeah if you have the time at the KL convention center this weekend! Have fun, bring your family and buddies along! See you there! |

And is like watching cinema movie, with some history videos of the beetle and why is an iconic, and then new beetle parade on the stage was great with some ultra lighting projection of the dancers, (1st in Malaysia), the entertainment was great! with a specially written icon tune. Locally artistes such as Amy of Search, Patrick Teoh, JJ & Ean of HitzFM gave testimonial on why they love the beetle too. So, when the show finished, you actually appreciate and understand why Beetle is an icon and the people's car. Then all guests move to the 2nd part of the show and you get up close and personal with the Beetle of cos plus loads of other VW fleet..... lots of pixture taking of the new Beetle in all colors, I luv the black Beetle! So different. Ok, this is a 1.2L TSI car, the 2.0L Turbocharger (top speed 223) not available yet but can book if you don't mind not knowing the price yet, lately we read some about Beetle-R, but this latest is 1.2L (Same engine as the Polo apparently) at RM139+++, quite easily sold actually, waiting list was 6 months or more I heard now. Nice sporty and bigger rim and looks more masculine, it looks great! but some said it lost is beetle shape slight, its slightly longer compare to the previous, the legendary 3x beetle bump somehow got flatten slightly esp the top part of the car, dashboard is quite basic actually. But still a nice beetle. Like it too! Cant wait to see the new beetle on the road soon! Anyone book one alrady ? for wife, GF ? BF ? or yourself ? or wait for the 2.0L for some power run! Have fun! |
