Hyundai seems to be very enthusiastic in courting the American tuning community. Not only has the Korean brand supplied three units of its Equus flagship saloon to tuners for SEMA (click to view the work of Rhys Millen Racing, DUB magazine and Mummbles Marketing), they also let RIDES magazine work on a Hyundai Sonata Turbo. Not sure about you, but it’s my first time seeing a modified YF, and it looks great!
This 274 bhp/375 Nm 2.0T that rolled out from Alabama gets a bodykit that includes new front and rear bumpers, side skirts, rear spoiler and roof spoiler, which all work together to accentuate the Sonata’s “fluidic sculpture” design. Other key exterior elements are the matte pearl paint job from BASF, 20-inch Rennen Modular M9 concave wheels with Falken FK452 tyres, smoked taillights and painted headlights. Also included are a matte black debadged front grille, Audi LED fog lights and 3M vinyl carbon wrap on the roof.

Hyundai sold a total of 2,668,699 cars during September 2009 and September 2010. A majority of the cars were manufactured outside Korea (1,393,055) with the rest being built inside its home country. The brand is becoming increasingly popular in markets such as China and the US too, who made up most of the increased sales

It's going to be launched in Malaysia end 2011. The expected price is going to be...wait for it...cheaper than its sister Sonata YF thumbsup.gif because, as usual, all KIA's in Malaysia is going to wear the Naza Badge on it ninja.gif

i hear hybrid car's battery need change after 5 years n cost a bomb...

as for mitsu they skip hybrid n go full EV, to be pioneer, once EV been explored, then the ev tech will be bring into a petrol car for a very advance hybrid...
y?
by doing so, u know pro n cons of running in ev mode, this will over come the limitation of ev in hybrid car...
so just wait n c the cars in 5-10yrs time...

Hahaha, or the other way round. Coz the so called "patriotic" will change protong badge to mitsubishi.

I'm not sure anyone would like to buy a Naza priced at RM200k. Turbo version not going to be cheap, right?
Just like LGT ~RM120k, Evo X ~RM300k. Hyundai YF ~RM170k, if turbo version 50% more expensive will be ~RM255k...

naza rebadge won't cost that much...AP king can do magic here...lalalala
aki
n plus NAZA is more sincere by not claiming this is their own 'OEM' collaboration with KIA .. or peugoet .. at least they play nicely on this and clearly state .... we're just another re-badger for those who want a cheaper CKD car .. heh hehhhhheee

Its a nice car....They gave warranty for 300k miles........so its well worth it compared to Mitsui.....some more, they wont let their car to be rebadge......hmmmmmmmm..
