The sales rep @ Glenmarie showroom said dat the Mitsu Malaysia CEO called the shots to make the price hike.

Since basic economics has it that current DEMAND exceeds SUPPLY, as the CEO, he made the right decision to UP the price to get more profits so dat his staff will love him bcos get more bonus mah!

I doubt that the MY Govt (with the current political turmoil) would have interfered last minute to manipulate the taxation policies. A 2.0 litre car is STILL a 2.0 litre car, GT or otherwise right?

n i dunno how far it's true tat MM CEO call for price up as although he's more senoir than earlier MMM ceo but price is not up to MMM ceo to control :) unless cost maintaiin n they increase local price from 20k profit to 30k profit then tat's different
