I think it would be better if the QUOTE box have a difference background colour (grey or anything not black) and make a smaller text and the box is offset a bit from left margin.

Normally I don't really consentrate reading the quote, but here I read everything.

the quote box is a different colour from normal postings. Normal posting background is grey, so it won't make sense to make the quote box grey as well.

as it is some membes are complaining that the text is too small, so don't think the text for the quote should be any smaller.

Not much different on my screen (I'm not using 42 in LCD). The grey darker is near to the black.
Or change the quote colour text.
