Just check MAA's August statistic report, there is 105 Lancer 2.0 GT in Malaysia:
102 in Peninsular, 2 in Sarawak and 1 in Sabah. In Peninsular, 67 are in S'gor!
BTW, I just joined the long Q yesterday, booked in SS2.

The figure I obtained is from the Malaysia Automotive Association. Thanks to my line of work, can access a lot of mkt info. 105 is the number of cars registered, presumably on the road.
As for the rest, I think is either clearing custom or will be reflected in September figure.
I hope the volume of GT will be controlled, if not it will be like Civic, just another COMMON ride on the congested KL roads.

No doubt the new Lancer has been so attractive to the public after it launched. I certainly hope people won't abuse/modified the car until it becomes an "Ah Beng's car".

yeap..the car already comes with the kit and other stuff. Which for me, only tint will do and probably some nice stickers and also better tyre and rim in the future.

Does painting the rim white makes it Ah Beng ??

I think the overall outlook for the Lancer GT is already garang enough esp with the spoilers all rounds. Of coz, with some high end sport rims installed, it looks more gorgeous rather than ah beng's look.
Just trying to avoid show off in front of ah beng or ah liang otherwise this will encourage them to buy the car and started to transform it to become an official "AH BENG's RIDE" :P

sure the GT will be ah beng-ed...tat will show us, who got taste who dun..., as for the drain gt... it's old case, now till date got TWO... one is drain by co driver one is bang by customer during test drive, lucky tat is the unit he wanna buy n he just wanna test out his car then kappaboom.....
