I'm also into Star Wars...of course mine is into the 3 prequels, most notably Empire Strikes Back. My fav is the villains...Boba Fett,Darth Vader of course not forgetting the Storm Troopers...

Episode 1 sucks! For episodes 2 & 3 I think the guys that played Anakin is not suitable for the charactor. Better off Freddie Prinze Jr or the dude that played shaggy in Scooby doo....

I do collect the stuff.What I have now (the list will grow in future):

-Millenium Falcon (has 'afterburner' sound as well as lights). No figures yet.
-Tie Interceptor (Like Tie Fighter but with jagged egde) with the pilot figures
-R2D2 (this is cool man...something like furbee). This R2 is battery operated and can move and react to your call (dance and stuff)

I also collect the smaller diecast that includes:

-Star Destroyer (3 of them)
-Death Star
-Vader's shuttle
-Slave I (Boba Fett's ship), smaller and bigger Die Cast models
-Snow Speeder (the spaceship in Empire Strikes Back) - plastic and Die Cast

During my childhood, i did collect quite a number but eventually they'd lost over time. During that time I had Luke skywalker (in X-Wing fatigue), Han Solo, Chewbacca, Boba Fett, Storm Trooper, Biker Scout, Darth Vader,R2D2, C-3PO, X-Wing, Slave I and few others I couldn' recalled. All of them I bought whenver I went to Singapore. During that time Star Wars collectibles were from Kenner. Nowadays Hasbro

Oh wow! You hardcore man. I'm just a casual fan. Don't collect anything yet but I do enjoying reading trivia and back stories. Been trying to get the Clone Wars cartoon on DVD but no luck yet. Also heard next month Cartoon Network on Astro will be showing another side story about the Clone War but I'm not sure if it's just another rerun.

was a BIG fan - but not a collector - had fun whilst young with the Snow Speeder, Speeder Bike, Scout Walker (2 legged at-at in episode 6 on endor)

the newer movies were ok - but didnt quite have the same magic - maybe too much animation involved.

played some of the StarWars flight simulators a few years back that allowed you to pilot various craft which was fun.

Played X-Wing more than a decade ago. Couldn't finish it because my pc was too slow which meant I couldn't aim property. Plus the missions were quite hard so you really needed some good hardware (fast pc, joystick, etc..) to win. I think I got stuck at one of the missions towards the end just after rescuing the Sullustian ambassador.

spotted a large tie fighter toy/collectible the other day in toys r us... wings are about elbow to wrist in height - about RM150 if anyone interested...

the hobby shop in mid valley near the laser tags place/toycity is having a sale for transformers and star wars collectibles.....
