Hi Admins,

Picture uploading in the Gallery... it gaves 10 slots with Browse and choose.. Can the system supports a moer dynamic method like Drag and Drop or Loads the Client System's drives to choose the file ? Something like in Facebook or Microsoft's API thingy..

2nd.. I just realise there is a limit to posting pictures in a Thread. how many per topic ? 15 ? Can it be increased for certain usergroups ?

Thanks !

the 10 slots is the gallery's limitation. sorry about that. since im the only one administrating the forum right now, i dun have the time to implement such a system unless maybe ur willing to help whistling.gif

Also in the forum, each post is limited to 15 images only and it can't be changed for a certain forum since its a universal setting.

i think 15 imgs per post is ok. just span it over 2 or 3 posts if you have more images.

as for the uploading part using drag+drop... it's not easy. tongue.gif

actually im trying to find a way to install a file server so its easier to batch upload to the server but it needs the admin to batch add them into the gallery...

after 2 days reading thru the loooong Coppermine documentation.. hmmm.. so far.. found nothing much yet.. but learnt a lot.. hehehe..

However, i found something for XP users.. to be able to upload directly via XP's Publisher... let me research more on this.. to ensure it is secured and not spammed by web crawlers later on.
