well, i quitted fitness first about 1.5 yrs ago as my new job was very demanding. maybe i'll join back the gym next year when my project is finished.

Not really. I still take protein along with my amino acids.Amino acids aid in repair, growth, and development of muscle tissue (which is why amino acids are called the building blocks of protein) and also do a lot more. I just like to get more protein in my system

Hi all, im a hardcore bodybuilder too. but not a pro yet... just one year in bodybuilding...started this interest back in KL. used to have lots of gym partners. but now im in labuan, here really hard to find any supplements. i just take the basic protein and creatine. not really go for certain brand but my favorite is BSN true mass and UNIVERSAL NUTRITION real mass.
in labuan the iron brothers are even more hardcore. they train an oldskool way which is more brutal. they lift damn heavy free weight. no machines, just free weight...thats y their physics are damn nice...
im still in the journey of building up my guns, chest and shoulders.....do share your experience and hope this topic become alive again

Ha! Ha! Finally a topic which I am familiar with. I used to lift a lot of weights in my younger days. What are you hoping to achieve bro? Are you looking to bulk up or put on lean muscle or build up strength? I would be happy to answer your questions except on the issue of supplements (since I don't keep in touch with bodybuilding magazines anymore). However a word of caution - my knowledge is not gained from books or magazines though...but from my personal experience and from my sifus in my younger days...

Wah, so exciting s many people are gym junkies here.....
well, my personal goal is to bulk up mass. at this stage my training routine is still on size. only a lil bit training on cutting and definition. still dont satisfy my size tho....i always get advise from iron brothers in labuan gym...some of them are hardcore bodybuilders.
supplements, i dont take too much.just basic BSN True Mass and UNIVERSAL creatine mono...
in labuan dont have such a fancy gym like in KL. back in KL i used to go to fitness first KLCC...cant stand the fees is damn expensive... I would rather go to GYM RAKYAT...cheaper...hahahaha...

Eh, you also went to Gym Rakyat, DBKL? I used to go there some years back. Did you go to the one in Titiwangsa or the one in Wangsa Maju, Section 5?
If you want to bulk up, there is only one way to do it. Do lots and lots of SQUATS. No pain no gain.

don't ever forget deadlifts too... deadlifts release a hell lot of GH when u sleep at nite...
if squats are the king of exercises, deadlifts oughta be the queen :)

well, squat and deadlift is for legs and calves..i dont really concentrate on that for this moment. my target now is upper body...
i only do lots of compund workout on bicep, tricep and chest...isolation workout once a week....when i got the size that i desire then i will change my routine to having more isolation work out....huhu....

Err...sorry to disagree bro. When we do heavy squats, it exercises the entire body including the back muscle. Of course the primary muscles exercised are the legs and followed by the calves. It is a good exercise to do if you want to gain weight / mass. A simple test would be this:- which exercise is more tiring, 3 sets of bench press or 3 sets of squats? It is the squat of course. Why is that? Because your entire body is straining to push the weights up.
BTW, I think deadlift is meant for the back muscle..
If you want to put on size, never exercise for more than 1 hour 15 mins excluding warming up. In fact, the books tell you not to exercise for more than 45 mins if you want to gain size but I think this is too extreme. The exercise should be 3 to 4 reps of not more than 8 reps each to gain size. Otherwise, you are just building lean muscle or "cutting". Have a good workout this weekend bro.

agree with silverstalion....actually when u r doing ur crunch or any abs workout, the packs are there but its not visible...cos ur fat layer are too thick...
do lots of cardio to lose some fat, and also another important thing have a low carbs diet everyday...
what is your phase right now?r u bulking up or cutting down? if u r bulking mass forget about six packs or sexy abs...it wont happen......coz u need to load lots of carbs and calories....
im on my way to cutting down actually after 10 months of bulking....I can see some definition now....

Just finished my 1st bottle of Nitrotech...going for 2nd bottle. I stack it with Nutrex Lipo6. Before this I stack it with Muscletech Hydroxycut, but its too strong....tak boleh tido mlm woooo..then i switched to lipo6...Nitrotech is super powerfull bro, feels like taking jabs....u can see the leanliness even after two weeks..(of course with lots of cardio)

no sweat la bro....in fact im still learning...thats bodybuilding are about..learn from the best...Yup, I started working out April 2008...about 1 year plus now.....
im now searching information on the best technique of doing superset training. its the best for cutting....

My weight are 78-79kg with 176cm height....but yet the belly fat is still there...been working on my abs tru crunches and mcm2 lagi la...but doesnt seems to work...starting to fedup oredy...
