Yeah, i noticed that as well. There are now 141 registered members, but how many of them are real owners or active members? Shall we do something about it?

Hi, this is my first post and I am member number 141. I don't think removing lurkers will do this forum any good. I believe that this forum's intention is to let people know how "cool" this car is and there is a great bunch of people who owns lancer or just loves the car, who can give support to each other.

What this forum needs is more publicity, and taking the step to remove lurkers will instead give out the wrong signal that this is a secretive forum that wants to hide everything from everyone. What's the problem if there is seaweed spies or lancer bashers? If this car is that good, time will tell and many more people will convert from seaweed, toyo-weed or whatever to lancer-weed.

I read this forum everyday from the time this forum was created because I love Mitsubishi Lancer and planning to get one next year if my financial situation permits. I even send links from this forum to my friends, and their feedback of lancer is, they were very impressed and they started to take note of lancer.

The reason not many people post in this forum is there are still not that many people who owns or book lancer yet, so we don't have much to say other than ogling at your cars.

Thanks for your input, ramirezi. I did a quick check and this is what i found out:-

There are about 141 registered members and guess what? 98 of them have less than 10 posts while 83 have less than 5 posts. There are 57 who have less than 1 post.

This club will become a very exclusive club where we will do things differently compared to other car clubs (no offence ya). Members tends to get bored after a while when they join any car club because most of the automotive clubs in our country are having the same practice, pattern and events.

We do appreciate all members that have joined the club today. But i'm surprised that they really don't have anything to comment or suggest to the club to make it an outstanding club in m'sia? There are abt 4000 posts till date and yet they can't find any post where they can give some comments or ideas?

Bear in mind that this club is open to any suggestions or comments. It doesn't really matter whether you are planning to get a GT or you are already the owner. I personally do appreciate your input and i'm sure other members do agree with me.

So why wait? Make yourself active today.

since this is a public forum, you can't help but allow anyone including lurkers in. Like remirezi said if we just removed all the 0 post members it will only be bad publicity for us.

The only difference between registered members and guest is that registered members have the ability to post so I don't see why we should remove them. Its not like they get to access any other parts of the forum.

The clubhouse can only be viewed by LGTC members so any discussion about the club will be in there, so don't worry about spies and stuff.

most of them not active bcos most the car also havent come..our member who have the GT also can count with 2 hand..
and GT is too new lo..nothing to modify yet....

This place/forum/club is not about making certain people, certain groups, certain arseholes happy. This is LGTC and its about the car.

This is not a place for personal interests.

If they cannot understand this, then they should leave.
