I enjoy playing board games ever since young, anyone here a board game fan?

This is my current collection:

Cluedo (bought but never managed to play since need 3 people )

as for me....monopoly, uno, risk and carrom. didnt realise uno got several editions. are they all the same game play? same alike monopoly with several editions too? i knew ori monopoly is UK and later i played the US edition before they came our with local sahara (i think) and also english version with Msian places.........

UNO some have slight variation for example

the harry potter one has one power card where if ur opponent puts down a draw 4 card, u can use this card to nullify his action.
the Cars one has 2 power cards where if u were to use it, u can exchange with any player ur hand of cards with his or hers.

but the best is UNO Attack, it comes a machine that spits out cards randomly depending on the draw card that u get, if ur lucky u dun get any extra cards, but there is one card where u have to push the button on the machine UNTIL it spits out the cards..lol

monopoly for me not much difference la.. just the places different name comparing US to UK, but the bank card edition completely eliminates CASH. all transaction is done using a bank card and a transaction machine. much like uing a debit card...

My most favourite board games is MAD board games. In monopoly you have to acquire as much money/wealth as possible but MAD you have to finish it as soon as possible. Furthermore from time to time you have to do weird action to lose some money. Sadly, I lost it couple of years ago.

i have pokemon cards & collection .... ( i play national's championships for malaysia ) but can't get to world .. sad .. , yugioh cards game ,harry potter chess set , uno stacko ( usually use to throw ) and old time snake & ladder ( stall time with my dad ) lol ...

wow what a coincedence...i have the same board and card games as terion...we should play together some time...

I still remember playing the card game Old Granny, super car, jet fighter, war ships etc..but those card already RIP,hehe..

errr...anybody play RISK here?.....need kakilah to play this games!!

I have Scrabble and Classic Monopoly but the boards are in KK, Sabah.

I have played UNO, the Lord of the Ring, the Syrink, Risk and Cluedo.

I don't really like Cluedo and the Syrink. But I enjoyed Risk and the Lord of the Ring. Both Risk and LOTR have similar game play, the difference is perhaps that LOTR have a time limit. The game end when Frodo reached the Mountain in Modor. Then the player has the most land win... if I'm not mistaken.

There's a computer game version of this card game that uses magic, spells and monsters... forgot the name liao... I tried it but found the learning curve a tad bit too steep and too technical. I didn't have the time to bother to master the strategies.... and forgot where I chucked the game 'd... Most probably lent it to a friend and he/she never returned it to me.

I remembered it now... it's not Yu Gi Oh... it's called Magic: The Gathering. Invented by a Mathematics Professor.
