Based on MAA's September statistics, there are only 38 Lancer GT registered, bringing YTD number to 143 (ONLY).
It represent 0.1% of the total passebger car registered in September (total of 34,805).

Pahang - 2
Kelantan - 2
Trengganu - 2
Perak - 0
Penang - 8
Kedah - 0
Perlis - 0
Peninsular - 34
Sabah - 1

Total in M'sia - 38

Hope these figure do not last forever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

BUT we are still better than Mazda 6 - with only 5 cars in September! While there are 16 Mazda 3!

i think he did mention that his work allows him access to the AAM report of car sales every month. He also posted the August numbers b4 in this thread...

I might just afraid that AAM is making up the numbers for some reasons. If the figure is real, then the balance of the car are still in Port Klang. Something smells fishy and can we do something about it? Anybody has any brilliant idea?

btw how u know the car in the port klang? maybe those car not even on our shore yet muahahaha..

IF YOU READ THE BUSINESS SECTION OF ANY NEWSPAPER, YOU WILL FIND THE STATISTIC BUT THOSE ARE A BROAD PICTURE. MONTH ON MONTH, CAR SALES FELL 5.5% BUT ON A YEAR ON YEAR BASIS, IT ROSE 5.4%. I HAVE DETAILS OF ALL CAR SOLD IN THE MONTH. SO I CHECKED FOR YOU GUYS LOH!

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE FIGURES I RELEASED WAS FOR THE MONTH OF SEPTEMBER. SO OCTOBER REGISTERED LANCER WILL ONLY BE ANNOUNCED 30 DAYS FROM NOW.

I think Mitsubishi has underestimated the sales of Lancer GT!
Based on our Japan auto analyst, this is their COME BACK car. Not only in M'sia, Mit sales has been very weak worldwide. So Lancer GT, once launched, caught everyone's attention + the pricing strategy, it was a HIT!
If things start to run smoothly in Japan, we should be able to get 200 units a month. Then again, it depends on the efficiency of our custom officers!!! The conclusion is THOSE WE HAVE NOT GOTTEN HIS RIDE, IS THE TIME TO TEST YR PATIENT & LOYALTY!
