i have always like the lamp-lights on Deepavali...very nice, El Presidente...
they give off a glow that just makes one feel warm and festive...

COOL !!!! Happy Deepavali.. I always spend Deepavali at my best friend's Aunty's house.. all the good food and cookies.. YUM !!!! The shocking factor is.. The Aunt cooked Mutton, Chicken, Crabs, all so NICE... yet, she is vegetarian... :P

I hav to admit Indian's vegeterian is more delicious and healthier than than mandarin's that is mostly served with 'intimate' chicken, fish, crab, meat.....as all this is additive.
