Lost my car in July this year.....difficult to move around by taxi...esp at night....friend borrowed me evo 7, so syok drive fast car but just not possible for me to drive manual car in kl plus fuel consumption of evo...not worth la... can't afford evo X some more kl always jam, where got time to drive laju2.... so GT is my best option...got the car before Raya, went back to Batu Pahat, if kena g raya through short cut jln kampung..... i sanggup re-route ikut jln lain, x nak my GT calar ma....hehhehehhehhe

Also look at Civic .... don't like the two-tier dashboard
City.....too many friends driving it, furthermore everyone said I cannot drive Honda anymore...su**y bec my Honda got stolen before
Altis/Vios ..... feel like makcik/vios not spacious enough
Latio.... shape x kenan
Sylphy.....make me look like makcik anak 3

mine a bit diffrent...bck to my dads time,,he actually wana go for honda,but the price too high,,every time when he save enuff for it ,than d price increase again..after a few times my dad turn mad n hated honda since than so he choose galant,..but nw he actually driving honda accord..

my fisrt car was a 2.5lit misubishi pajero, drive for two yrs then change to E200, but really dont like that uncle look when i driving the E200, so after 2 yrs change to 2.8lit diesel turbo charge pajero. after one yr when GT launch, was so amazed by the design n the spec, so without selling the pajero i bought the GT. im a die hard fans for

mitsubishi!! hehe..

hi,got this question in my mind all the time.just wanna ask, why you guys prefer lancer then others?(toyota,mazda,honda,nissan proton hehehe etc)
is it because of the name?quality?pricing?performance?the looks?safety?or are one of those guys that just follows others?

what makes you choose a lancer in the 1st place?
what makes you said ok "we're gonna be together from now on"

what makes you splash that cash to own it?

a look and performance a bit, entry level middle range cc before i move on to next level of performance car, this is a step stone on learning how to control sedan car, in many ways, not just straight lines.

i dunno la...my kaki just walk to the showroom...since only got three showroom in me hometown(kemaman).... 1 is nissan,1 is toyota and 1 is mitsu...

nissan latio= weird looking car

toyota altis= auto with 4 speed

mitsu lancer= got sport mode with paddle shift 6 speed

no need to think hard...straight away put DP...waited for 1 month for car delivery...101% satisfied lancer owner here...lalalalala

i do agree with the point made by rewlie ...... i dnt know whether im going to upgrade for another performance car after LGT ...
but ...... ive learnt a lot since i owned this car .. b4 this i owned a Gen 2 ... i dnt bother to go to any accessories shops ... the car was in stock conditions for past 6 years until the time i sold it ...

plus ... LGT is offering me a wide range of mods that i can do .... starting from exterior wise till the engine mods ... heheh .......... for me .. its giving a good package ... 120K ++ for a CBU car .... good handling + good SC ......... and not to forget a great Forums for me to join ....... what else i shud say ... i am a satisfied owner of LGT ...... if ons said 101% satisfied .... i hope it is not too much if said i am 300% satisfied with my own ride .. heheh ..

just my 2 sen .....

Because of the reportedly great handling, and what's in the hood of the car. I didn't like the transmission much, because another reason for getting the car was that it's a great toy to tinker around with. But if the CVT kapoot, hohoho...it'll be an early Christmas for me. I kept reading good reviews, especially from the owners themselves, who are very honest with what is lacking in the car. My initial hesitation in getting a car loved by Ah Bengs, Rempits and Ah Longs disappeared when I saw it. My initial plan was to get the Pajero Sport.

Instead of getting a "financially sound package" of good interior, good second hand value, etc... I wanted a car with a soul. Oh, and I like car manufacturers that also produced aircraft.

No regrets...it really is FUN to drive. Haha~

bcos got extra money to own this car.
bcos look much2 better than civic and mazda 3.
i dont want to buy city and vios.
been using local proton and perodua for quite some time.
my wife also like this lancer.
chick magnet.
my family hate this lancer, they claimed like peronda police car.

For me I love the latest evo family...the brother of GT/gl..definetly Evo x...my next target to wait for the half cut...don care about the selling value..just enjoy driving this fierce look of my GT..just cannot tahan my wife nagging when I mod my car..thats all..i think all bro facing the same problem here...B1N1 making noise when mod our car..hahahahaha

my wife dont bother anymore if i mod my car, juz dont kacau her viva cukup la.last time i put black racing banana 13inch rim to her viva, she ask me to change back the rim to stock(rim besi with plastic cover). untung dpt bini mcm ni...ekekkekee!!! jimat duit.

but actually i started modding car 7 years back, that time i owned stock std gaban satria 1.6, everything stock from factory, exhaust, rim, steering and bla..bla...plus the proton stock mud flap! one day my car auto gbox kong, my mech ask me to find gbox at chop shop, that time the gbox price is rm1100, no money to buy, then my wife willing to fund the repair cost, aper lagi happy la, so i bring my wife to this chop shop in kepong, then miracle happened, abang, why not just change the whole engine, better what, all new, less haedache,
...aper engine yg ngam? she ask the chop shop tokey, angat la itu halfcut GSR, semua ngam...that time the price only rm4700...ohohohoohoho!!! ini yg dikata pucuk dicita ulam mendatang! ekekkekekeke!!!

then, 2nd miracle pulak, abang...ape kata jual je satria buruk abang tu, then kita beli kereta baru, then i said... susah nak jual kereta ni, bnyk dah modified, summore ayang kan dah ada viva?. she said, takkan nak balik kampung naik viva je, ada satria simpan kat bengkel memanjang.
the next 2 days she introduced me his office mate, that guy really intrested to buy my satria, offering me cash 22k, deal closed and sold to that guy.
with that cash money trus buat downpayment lancer....end story.

ak sbenarnya tempah FD2 on mei this year. ( smua kwn guna FD2 )
salesman janji dpt sblm raya.
so heppy la

lps tu lain pula ceritanya. x ad stock ( alasan saleman ) so ak pun bengang la.
ape lg berangan la nk raya tahun ni ngn kreta bru.
lps tu salesman janji sblm raya haji pulak.

last ak p tnya honda showroom bagi tahu next year ( feb ) baru kerta ad.
ak dengan bengang nya

mintak balik duit booking.

hampir seminggu jugak la mencari akhirnya ak jumpa 1 lancer ni ( laju ) kt atas penang bridge so ak kejar la ( ngn v6 )
tapi tak dapat. so lps hbis krja ak trus test drive lancer.
dan ak pun jatuh hati

tempah aje lancer kebetulan stock nak sampi. wait for 2 week ONLY.
