why made me wanna own a lancer 1st is de sporty look(garang if after mod la)then is safety,comfortable,powerful oso,got triptronic(+/-) n important is fully imported from jp.(workmanship more nicer lo).

hmmm,for me because honda showroom is far from my hometown...so your loss honda...why you didn't open one showroom in my hometown...or else maybe i could be driving FD2 today...lalalalala...btw, if there is one honda showroom in my town...i think i won't get it...since my bro. already had one...so need to diversify....

My father last time during his young age around my age using mitsubishi galant, very sporty duing that time la. Then comes 4 generation of mitsubishi pajero in my family. When mitsubishi lancer gt first introduced, I told my father this is my time using mitsubishi vehicle continuing the legacy.

initial book honda fd2. promise to delivey in 1 month, but has to wait fir 2 month. then my loan has problem , sa just inform me loan not approve and that only. i'm mat and cancel order, look for alternate, then found mit lnaser. almost same feature with fd2, but cheaper price. order with mmc, jb, settle loan for me in 2 week, then get my car.

Compared GT with Civic 2.0 when making purchase decision.

GT simply looks better.

nyaris2 beli toyota altis dulu...fikir punya fikir, banding harga, spec dll, lancer lebih menonjol.
kalau parking sebelah menyebelah ketara sangat lancer lebih best, jadi ambik lancer....tak tahan lama tunggu, salesman pun cakap paling kurang 6 bulan tunggu...ayooo.

bahagian lancer paling best ialah 'bontot' dan 'mata belakang' (lampu belakang) dia. dulu kalu jumpa mesti aku kejar ikut rapat semata2 nak tengok 'bontot'...hehehe. sampai sekarang orang masih jeling2...bestttt....

My previous comment was a light-hearted one :)

I bought the Lancer because of 3 main things :

1. Damn Good Looking
2. Magnesium Paddle Shifters --> damn big plus/sexy thing to me :)
3. Power that is comparable to the leading car in its class i.e. the FD2. Of course, I didn't know then that a stock Lancer was so sluggish... never driven a CVT before.

Was at Unique Fisherman's in Cheras around late2007/early2008... saw a black GT... told my wife "This is the car I want to buy... within budget". She checked out the GT and then said "Can I drive it also ah?".

aku senang je....first time aku tengok dia punye teaser kat dalam tv....terus tak bleh tidor....hehehe....keesokannya pergi showroom lagi la tak bleh tidor.....aku bukak internet ..tengok dia punya badan body sebijik macam evo x lagi tak bleh tidor....ape lagi....sambar le....love at first sight....sampai sekarang...hehehe

erm .... cause i love mitsubishi .... and so lucky i nearly get bang one white car in the road between the garden and megamall that is GT ( white from singapore ) then i love this car d .. and kacau my daddy to get for me ... now i drive it everday like bumper car .... hahahh

I think the choice is not very difficult to make since the car has so much attractions. I saw it in SS2 showroom without even knowing it was launched and without seeing any pics of it b4. REally love at the first sight esp the ass, and 2 front lamp.
Now I still have a little bit of the proud effect of driving a not-so-common car on the road....

1. Lancer > outstanding compare to seaweed due 2 quantity on d road
2. Cheapest amongs the 2.0

Initally i read about the car in paultan.org........as i saw the pics and read the specs/list of accesories, i was tempted...then when i saw the price, i couldnt sleep liao!.........so happen i was lookin at changing my car then....initially was lookin at cars 80-90k wah but then suddenly over budget !

Bought a GT bec MMM priced it "wrongly" at RM112.8K

Bcoz my lovely wife nagged me to change our 5 year old waja to something new. Look see look see then I fell in love with this superb driving machine

Being an accountant, I calculated that this is the best deal in town when I read about it. AND it had the sporty look that I was looking for.

Chose Lancer cos the car was launched at Perfect Timing...

when I came back to malaysia, my first aim was to buy a car ..

went to the showroom in KB, straight away I pinted point at the car ,
told the salesman I know everything about the car so he could just shut up...
and the only thing i asked " when can I get my red lady?"

2 weeks later , I'm one happy guy.... until now :)


P/S - everytime i see a civic/sylphy/sentra/altis pass by... I smile coz I know i made the right decision..

In malaysia there in NOT a single car that is "value for money". IMHO though.

But Lancer is nearest to value for money base on its spec and styling. But the latest price move it abit further.

Me, it's all about the value... Value for money.... no other car in Malaysia at the moment can beat the price, ringgit for ringgit, for what you get in the Lancer GT. Add the good looks, standard equipment, newer model, there.. you have it. Direct competition, of course, Honda Civic 2.0, but then compare the price, add some accessories, price increase.... but then again Civics are too common on our road, why a lot of people choose the Civic? I don't want to know. For me, you either go with the flow, or you chose your own path. I know what I want, and I am proud to be with my fellow GT and GLS owner here, wherever or whoever they may be....

i was a mitsubitshi fan since i was very very young...my dad drove a galant than pajero when i was young...n i love it..than i discover abt evo..wow damn nice man..but till generation 6 till 9 i have lesser passion on evo coz of d appearence looof ..than boom this gt popup...it was totaly different fr d oher previous model..i was so in it..i waited for 8 long months..but its worth it..im happy to own it n to meet up with all of u guys/gals out the

Fell in love with the Lancer 2.0GT when I first spotted the car on the Internet.Then got to know the price which is very attractive for a Japanese 2.0cc car in Malaysia.Some more too many Uncles, Aunties, Office ladies all driving Civic around........feel like tak syok la.I prefer something special and unique.Plus Lancer looks very 'garang' haha. Very macho, me like.I think after 5-7 years this car can still turn heads.Forgotten to add, Lancer 2.0GT is a chicks magnet car haha.
