My SA yesterday called me said that they will give RM5K discount to all those who have booked GT and have waited more than 3 months. He also said that they will include the Rockford system as payback for the delays.

I also talked to my friend from MMM which confirmed this.

I heard for those who are booking a GT now and willing to wait almost 2 years will get 4 extra brand new yokos for free and it comes with rockford fosgate system...also the price is 20% cheaper.

with this you'll only see GTs on the road man!! that is after 2 years la.

The car dealer called me and offered me if i were to take the GLS now, I will be given the privilege to modify the car with all original parts until it looks like a GT at zero cost after 6mths of using the car. Reason being I'm the 1st owner of the GLS and they really want to promote the GLS. They also inform that the offer only applicable for the first 5 GLS owners.

But the best thing is, all the above statements will be documented on an agreement with the authority. Then it will become a legal document once we signed it.

flygt, u n me booked just 1 day difference, i booked mine 27/8, and u mentioned they will give rm5k for GT discount was it rm125k -120k? or 116k to 111k? and 1 more if ya guys dont mind.....wat is the rockford system ahh? hehe

Rockford system is the audio system, the one they used in USA, Japan and Singapore. The original audio which they promoted, with 600 W and excellent sound....worth it.

kinda heard from the boss in KT that the prices will increase ad yen is getting higher...dunno if its true or not...

Hot news this morning the big shots of the companies was having a chat while golfing, the caddy heard and was talking about it with his fellow colleagues which went into the ears of the country club manager, he then told his wife about it...his wife started gossiping with her friends in the saloon and another customer heard it and told her friends in starbucks and i happened to walk pass and heard it and now telling you guys...

The GT was initially supposed to be priced at RM125k but after knowing that if the price is this high they'll be directly competing with seaweed and it'll be a fair fight, therefore they reduced the price to RM116k to sink other car makers without realizing they are all under the same umbrella. They didn't expect the booking to go higher then expected and the top guns in Japan wasn't informed of the price reduction. When the demand was higher and reported back to Japan to produce more GTs faster, Japan did an investigation as to why the bookings increased. They came to know that the price was reduced and the GLS which was sent in earlier was not even sold yet.

They fumed and demanded to sell the GLS otherwise no more GT will be sent to Malaysia therefore the malaysian ding dongs with the help of eee-on ding dong came up with a plan and now pushing the GLS instead of the GT. That's why there was a sudden halt in booking the GT. If they don't sell of the GLS within the said period Japan will pull out from Malaysia for good, which includes their share in the kereta nasional.

This was one of their skim cepat kaya which turned sour.

P/S : The person who signed the free petrol voucher letter has left the country without trace for some reason, nobody knows why.

to enable these ride to be more affordable, these cars will be shipped to THAILAND with out tyres, seat n engin n to be fill up with accessories there, this will enable it to enjoy cheaper price here thru AFTA... GLS 95k, GT 105k, Ralliart 155k n Evo X 195k, the 1.5 n 1.8 version will be introduce later at 3rd quarter 2008 once they finalise the deal to t8ake over Proton plant in Shah Alam, n converted to assemble lower range of 1.5 n 1.8... which price will be known later, n speculated to priced at 55k for 1.5 and 75k for 1.8.

as 1st mitsubishi got plant in thailand, 2nd protone got plant in shah alam, 3rd afta 2008 w8ill benefit asean car the most,

i dont mind to wait till 2008 even after CNY so long as i get my RedCer w/o price hike! any info regarding price hike?
MMM better think twice on tis move as i believe there will b quite a number of cancellation since they r not gettin ride on top of price hike. dont 4get there's still Civic n coming soon Altis n what have u! mazda's another alternative besibe used BMW 3series if one doesnt mind. anyway, i m not giving up yet so i ll call G'marie 2moro 4 more inside news. hope alxandwill share some news! tq bra!

this morning i got a call from japan...

While having tea with the CEO in Japan, he told me to advise everyone in the forum to stop speculating and creating rumours.

I told him it's hard for us not to do that when MMM isn't transparent to their customers, besides MMM themselves are speculating and tarnishing their own reputation, it was already tarnished long before. They could have untarnish their name with the GT but it's like the Mahsuri's curse it'll last for seven generations. It will remain tarnished perhaps very soon they will gulung tikar and swim back to Japan and on the way angry sharks might catch them and eat them slowly and painfully. They did design the GT to look like them, (ppl did buy the GT coz of the look despite it's Mitsubishi) then later ruin the sharks' reputation as well.

I told him we will continue to do our best in speculating rumours until we get actual news from MMM, which will never happen. After hearing this the CEO slammed the tea cup on the table and ordered his henchmen to shoot to kill those who profited and profiting from the sale of GT and GLS as it's wrong doing coz it's cheating their customers.

Upon hearing this the henchmen shot the CEO on the head and the free petrol voucher dude left Malaysia without a trace and Freddie is hired to replace him.

Therefore, MMC needs more time to fish the cars out from the ocean...after doing that they would need to re-con the cars to make them look new and ensure it doesn't rust for at least 5 years...after all the warranty is for 5 years.

Knowing that it'll take forever to get this done, they are pushing the GLS hoping that ppl will opt for it. The price hike on the GT is due to the cost incurred in re-conning it.

They priced the GLS at RM114k, so that the profit will cover the slight loss in the GT.
