I accidentally found this feature as I am testing out some PHP features on the project I am working on.. and it worked here.

Situation : A topic which has lots of replies.. and you are getting dizzy tracking down the questions and answers of the thread.. Instead of reading it one by one, you can have it Threaded just like in Gmail ....

Example :
http://forum.lancerzone.com/index.php?showtopic=3271
The DIY Idea, please list down Topic.. it has a lot of suggestions and replies on each post...

Try it again using the Threaded mode...
http://forum.lancerzone.com/index.php?show...p;mode=threaded
Scroll to the bottom, you can see each Quotes and replied Threaded so that you can just concentrate to read replies that are related to the questions..

To use it on any page.. just add
&mode=threaded

Behind the URL

no need so difficult la JL, on the right of each topic title u will see a Options link, just under the new topic button.

then under display mode, just click switch to outline and ur there...
JohnsonLam
Oh yeah...

Once you set &mode=threaded
it will be defaulted in your profile.. to set it back..
add
&mode=normal to the URL
terion
if want to go back to normal, just click on standard view...
axenophage
wow, good one..it just shows early sentences only and not in full

ok, I am not familiar with this but currently I don't like the fact that when I click "View Last Post" I actually only get to view last post instead of entire thread. How do I get to view an entire thread by clicking "View Last Post"?
terion
actually this is useful ONLY if all members use "quote & reply" to reply to that post, or else if won't show as a reply to the original post.
