Well done bro terion.. Another upgrade.. thumbsup.gif But I do agree and would like to suggest that the old main page is retained.. but that is my 2 cents opinion only.. Cheers!
terion
wah got quite a lot of supporters for the old one... didnt know that cause the feedback i got was it was no use and thought was better to remove to make space for more partners/sponsors banners...
ettan28
enough of sponsors d..hahaha

i think most of us using firefox also got de ad blocker plugins
=P
terion
err even with ur ad blocker, the banners will still be visible... like the Sponsor's on the portal page and google ads, u are still able to see it..

anyway the club needs to generate more funds, hence more banner space... but its only gonna be on the main forum portal page, the rest of the forum will remain the same...

well ettan, thanks for NOT supporting the club or the forum. down.gif
eldiablo
this forum is quite active so usually more than 1 thread being updated at a time - so my preference is the older one.

terion
actually it doesnt matter, cause both this one and the one b4 have the same update interval... just tha the prev one u can see the whole top 10...
RempitGurl
Did any of you notice that even when we are viewing specific topics on the forum, we have the "Last 10 Active Topics" Bar constantly updating us? This is totally different from the old one where it only pops up at the "Home" page.

I am all for this new Active Topic Bar!! thumbsup.gif

And more space for sponsors means more income means more revenue means more activities...$$$$!!

I visit the main page at least once a month.

That sounds better than "I hardly visit the main page" biggrin.gif
Ironman

Jaguarah
Personally i like d old active topic bar.....this one can only c one topic at a time...kinda troublesome....
but d awesome thing is d bar can be seen on all d pages....
Goodjob boss!! thumbsup.gif
gsrrs
more prefer the old 1 on the main page la.. bro terion maybe should start a voting poll for this?
princess
Changes is good as it shows we are moving forward. Everyone should adapt to it as every changes has it's own pros and cons and we can't have a perfect change.

err...a voting poll for forum changes isn't really necessary.

Appreciate everyone's feedback and look out for more changes to come. thumbsup.gif
terion
since many want back the old version, i made the bar expandable now. Just click on this button on the right of the bar:

and it will expand and show the top 10 latest active post.

p/s: if somehow u cannot click some of the links, move the mouse to the right side of the link (almost to the end) and it should work. This is due to some conflict with the shoutbox underneath.
ettan28
good job terion
but why the layout like out of place? not in the center

its weird but not a bigg problem tho....computer at home does not have this issue. So guessing its something to do with Firefox 3.07 for Mac in office vs Firefox 2.something at home.

Right clicking on the first 2 thread of any page whilst the "active topic bar" is in the closed position ( showing only 1 line ) will not work. The 3rd thread onwards,no problem. BUT if I expand the bar, then right clicking will work for all threads. Weird??

Just let it be la Terence thumbsup.gif ....
