"The more mundane Honda Civic comprehensively beat it, ....". Wat da hell is this supposed to mean? Basically, the writer sums it up by saying the Lancer is a great car if driven hard, but for everyday driving (more mundane?), the civic beats it. Zzzz.
And get this, in the fact list, they clocked the Civic century at 6.4secs. For the Lancer, n/a (!?) Why? They couldn't time it? Top speed for the Civic is 240km/h while the Lancer is rated at 200km/h (I think they never 'caught' Madsurgeon or Bwtc lol.

Its is the new Civic TypeR ie FD2R timed at 6.4sec sprint and tops at 240kmh.
Thats what U get for a 1330kg/225ps/22.0kg torque manual 6 speed Civic R.
Someone with a crossed eye got the 2 Civics info mixed up.

I think something is wrong with the stats. If you guys have the mag, just turn a few pages back before the civic and LGT shootout. The mag also reviewed civic Type R. And get this - civic type R top speed was stated as 231+kmh and its century dash was 6.0 sec!
Sigh... the editor didn't do his job properly la. How come top end speed for garden variety civic is higher than its more powerful cousin? And if normal civic is just 0.4 sec slower why bother to dish out 75k more for type R?
