Hi, new member here. Only placed order 1 month ago but already fed up . Spoke to Shah Alam today and this is what I was told
1. No new orders being taken because.....
2. Waiting list now minimum 1 year!!
3. 80 GLS models in stock next month but no one wants (surprise surprise!)

If anyone wants to earn a quick RM3000 I will swap my VSO (delivery June 2008) but......

1. Must be taking delivery before end Jan 2008
2. Car must be grey or black - prefer grey

If no one takes my offer I will cancel and look for something else. Also the idiot at MMM who forcast such low sales figures should be given the boot!

If the rumors are correct abt the 10k increase in price, your 3k is not even a deal.

Not really fussed - the offer is there if someone wants it but more and more thinking of going elsewhere anyway. it's not a Ferrari or an Aston, I could wait a year if it was

Also, 10x more than the RM300 MMM offering, no one forcing you.........................

The eligible would be ppl taking their cars in Jan 2008 and before, and they will most likely not want a GT anymore.

So yeah, at this point of time the only ppl who would take it are those who either fell in love with another car or have reasons for not taking delivery of it.

Edit: RM3k is 1/3 of the 'rumored' 10k increase for GT expected next year (April iirc in one of the threads).

Other than that please let me know as I will consider but nothing is close in this price range................so why the mistake??????????? We all luv the price but look at the result, I would gladly have paid 125k and be told delivery 1-2 months, no problem. EWven MMM said GLS should have been brought to market 1st

relax brader. we are all mad at MMM. let's not take it within ourselves but i think what the other guy was trying to say is that there has been rumours that the price will increase next year by 10K. so when you offered 3K for sum1 to give u their car first this year, tat someone actually earns 3K now but loses another 7K later cos of the new "supposedly" car price. at least this is how i read it. he was not dissing u. perhaps u didnt have time to read other threads yet ;)

but if sum1 have changed their mind about the car and their car is coming before jan 2008 then those might take you up. however based on forum postings most of the ones who changes their mind are those taking delivery June 2008 onwards

Let me put the record straight.......not angry at anyone here, yes of course if the rumour is right then potentially that person takin' my offer could be 7k down - it's a gamble and some people might risk it. The sad thing is I really like the car, I took a long test drive and although it has shortfalls overall the package is great, any normal business could only dream of the situation Mitsubishi is in!!!! Unfortunetely I think I am goin to have to look elsewhere even though I really don't know where???? - any hints

we have lots of ppl in the same situation as you as well as lots of topics discussing these i.e what car to buy etc. seems like the price increase rumour is widespread. from my chats with a significant number of people those who will be getting cars in Dec Jan will wait but a large % of those who need to wait till after June 2008 may cancel. U can check out the other topics (Polls) on these. ;)

honestly i think the chances of sum1 falling into that category (getting car by Jan but dont want) is very limited if any at all. :)

when i canceled my booking my SA asked if I was interested in the GS variant. I think it's quite unfair to us (the price hike). if it's really 10k increase might as well wait for the new accord 08 2.0 which may cost around 130k+. . .

Booked around september at the SS2 EON(cant really remember when) but was told that i will be able to get it during december * was hopping a nice xmas gift for myself* BUT for now, my dealer called this morning (26/11) offering me the GLS model which of course is a big NO NO NO to me. Then told me earliest i can get my GT is January ( New year gift to me?? Have to stay positive lorrr... what can i do)

Anyways, have any of you heard any rumors or news that we may be able to get the GTS version? The North america version where they have Manual transmission. By the way, for Msia's GT version do we get ipod input adapters? Cheers

me too booked in SS2 around 20's of aug. VSO stated dec/jan delivery but SA called and told me June 08...

no way.... I'll give them until the end of Jan08. If not, i'll cancel the order.
