Sometimes can access, sometimes cannot access...?

its not the forum or else everyone will be facing the same issue. its ur internet connection

ok just only got updated by se7en. apparently we just shifted servers yesterday and so the DNS propagation is still in process, hence some members can access, some can't due to this.

The process will roughly take about 1 day to sort out, by which then all connection issues should be solved.

I dunno la, Donny also cannot access it. Anyway, we have spoken so you check and see lo. Maybe it's a Streamyx thing.

same here about 3 hrs ago. later manage to login around 1pm.

Forum's Check Engine Light is flashing...
He he, obviously Reverend is checking the Forum all d time... even when it off for 1 second he knows...

down from this morning 11 something until 430 now...

as i mentioned above, the forum wasn't down. just the domain name server needed updating since server changed, since the IP has already changed.

Eg:

old server IP = 123, so forum.lancerzone.com -> 123

new server IP = 234, but forum.lancerzone.com -> 123

because the DNS server which links the domain (forum.lancerzone.com) to the server's IP (123) has not been updated with the new server's IP (234), hence it still links back to 123 thats y all u get its blank page because the forum is no more at 123.

after a while, the DNS at ur area gets updated, so u can access the forum again...

LOL..cut the crap....just say server down ok hahahah.....now only i know DNS is domain name server hahah

its not crap la, it may have been down for u, but it was up for me, and was vice versa after that... so i dun consider it as server down...

it was only down for me then up.......but how come its up for u then down? since if it was up for u, the DNS for u must have adjusted alredi?

hmm...what i do is to get on different search engines each time i want to log on...probably the "new" search engines can detect the new DNS...old on will give me the old message of time-out etc...no probs so far...

there are still some DNS servers around that are not updated - couldnt connect yesterday night using home connection.

Since this thread exist, so i think i just post here.

Is it my streamyx or this forum problem? I can access the main forum interface but when open any thread, it will be very hard to reach and mostly connection will get terminated upon loading the page. One more thing, the main interface also fails to load the icon images and ads, only the forum layout, anyone else experiencing this at this moment?

not me... maybe u could try on another pc or at a different location and see if u still get the same problem...

No problem detected, all running smooth and respond time on all page is normal.. Your symptom is like DNS problem on your site.

Try to use alternate dns 202.188.1.5
