Oooo ours got 2 airbag oni meyh?? i baru tau nih...nevermind i bring extra bag (pillow) everytime i drive, just for extra pre-caution...hehehhehe

yala.. u just compare with the evo x selling here... got 7 air bags, inc side air bag o the a pillar and b pillar and even a knee air bag...

not to mention we also lack the electronic stability control (ESC) in our cars...

From the EvoX brochure I have, it states it has 7 airbags.

one pillow (airbag) for one person....u can do 6 at a go! (one for urself to rest ur head) U read my mind ekekeke......bro Pyro so dirty need pillow in car hohohohoho

our ride here has most of the features plug and play and just not activated for our market.. not sure why..

i read again on the 2nd link, it was not being rated just based on how many airbags our car is having, take a look at other cars, BMW 5 series for this case, only rated 4 stars, don't you think they can have all the airbags (be it skinned or fabrics =P ) they ever need?

so even without the side airbags .. the RISE body on Lancers would score well too...i reckon if it isnt 5stars here then it should me at least 4 or 4.5 starts by just minus-ing the side airbags and knee airbags..

i do agree with kamahraj, the lancer actually comes with tons of stuff, but for malaysia everything was taken out.............why?
can we do like a dialogue with mitsubishi malaysia and request for the really important things like the vehicle stability, airbags...........more concerned with safety stuff...............

i'm sure we should be able to ruffle some feathers at least.............. not to be b*tchy.......but just to teach the money minded jacka** that safety is a key point.

maybe can make a list of items not available.. ..

for sure to minimise the price la bro..u know la Malaysia tax already contribute a lot..huhu

prolly MMC Japan adapted by using one spec of wirings for all the Lancers... maybe by doing this they can cut down the cost to manufacture diff wirings..which need some word since the wirings are sensitive part .. better make it just 1 spec for all ... then accs can be pnp during the assembly of diff spec Lancers ... in the big picture, it saves cost just by making 1 type of wiring..

u wanna know why? coz if they have all the 'fancy' things and even for extra safety matters,

Wow, did not know LGT has such a good rating, so happend i also own a Mazda 5 which has the same 5 star from them.

There was one driver with M5 had total lost conndition, but he walked out without not much injury, even the bomba also dont belive it. Eventually C&C used his crashed photo to sell more M5, ha ha!

TCK, yeah i heard about the guy who total loss his M5, the owner was so amazed......... he went out and bought another M5...........
