Would like to sell off my Red Arowana

1) Length - 22" to 23"
2) Age - 4 years
3) With Birth Certificate (From Xaing Ling- the aquarium shop next to Water world at Shah Alam)
4) Type- Blood Red Arowana

Reason to sell, my 5X2X2 feet tank is too small for it. When it turn its misai is touching the wall tank. Red Arowana can growth up to 2.5 feet. It need a bigger and especially wider tank around 7 X 2.5 X 2 feet tank. My house cannot cater for a big tank anymore.

Chang, that's a beautiful pet!!! My aquarium also not big enough... actually, my aquarium not deep enough since it is 7'Wx1.5'Dx1.5'H. I used to own a silver arowana that grew to a length of 1.5' and it was difficult for it to turn in my aquarium (it eventually got sick and I released it in a pond).

With a big enough aquarium, it is a very beautiful and relaxing sight to just watch a arowana swim slowly and gracefully and then watch it (hopefully) make a repeated figure-8 turn (very "ong" or lucky for owner )

rev, silver arowana will only grow longer but not 'thicker'

thickness of the arowana and also the top most 7th layer of the scales are the main factor to consider.

frm the pic, this Blood red arowana already 'over the shoulder' (in chinese la) definitely worth rm10k

(anyway, i not good in the technical terms of Arowana in english, coz all of my friends talk abt arowana in chinese :) )

and it died due to my careless mistake.

i not a supertitious person, but then ever since i got the arowana, i got more confidence and then thing sturn out to be better and better. kinda weird right? but its true.

What I mean, if you can sell to your friend at RM 12K(the more you can sell, the happier I am), I will give you RM 1.2K as commission (which is 10% of the selling price). Of course, for our LGTC member, my price is RM 10K.

For this kind of fish, there is no fixed price, it depend on the buyer, once he find this is the fish he is looking for, he will pay for it. Of course, if the color of the fish is more red (as red as our red lancer) , the price will shoot up to RM 30K or more.
