Last week I shop at Borders. One of the book I bought is the clearence and I took it. When I'm at home I realize the sales tag sticker were on top of the old one, so I peel it. To my supprise the old tag price show much cheaper..d*mn..

So, I remember someone mention for Jaya Jusco Jcard/ Parkson/ Metrojaya, they markup old price and put sale 20-50% but the result is still the same price..Is this true??

go for consumer tribunal if you got time to spent...lalalala...no lawyer will be involved in tribunal...so less headache...just you and the defendant...lalalalala...axe mega sales wat so ever is BS all the way...i never believe in mega sales...just hyper or super market gimmick...only certain thing you buy is a real bargain which is usually dah kena sapu dengan orang dalam(pekerja supermarket tu la)

sigh... that's why I hate to go shopping during Megasale, Merdeka Sale, CNY sale... unless emergency..

But... Border's sale (Offer bin), Popularbookstore Warehouse sale, Jusco member card day (food items) and Sunshine Square sale... really offer low price for certain items... Usually noticeable when they state "Only 1 item per customer" or something similar...

Another good sale is Pasar Malam during the last few minutes of closing... semua jual, mari angkat.. !!!

But.. if you hear in Pasar Malam :

"Tauke suruh saya jual semua, tak mau angkat balik... Supermarket beli ini RM 50... hari ini, saya jual bukan saja 1 tapi 2 ... RM 20 saja !!!... " This one.. avoid la.. hahahha

Axe , for Borders that's a bit unusual since i did bought books there during sale and non sale time. Try check the MPH website how much is the book cost and then you can roughly gauge the real price. If they really did mark up then only discount it then it is real effing dirty tricks.

biggrin.gif IT IS TRUE!!!! This happens most of the time. If you go to Super market be extra carefull swear.gif ..they advertise cheap things in the newspapers BUT the minute you buy something that is not advertised..whoollaa...price is more expensive mage.gif then the mamak store or 7/11. Watchout for what is written on the shelves and the Bar Code...sometimes there are tricks here too. If you said you are cheated they say ...well we provide Bar Code readers..It goes ON n ON...Orang Makan Orang. mage.gif wallbash.gif rolf.gif rolf.gif

if you feel you've been cheated pls raise a complaint to the store in question.

also look out for scanning policies - which honour the lower of advertised / barcode result.

blink.gif kalo beli barang kat sogo pastikan dapat beza antara barang ori dan barang tiruan... sana banyak tu barang yg dicampur.. pastikan yg ori baru beli.. biasanya kalo biasa beli barang ori bleh kenal yg mana satu ori yg mana satu tiruan tu
