DJ Hero is a music video game developed by FreeStyleGames and published by Activision. It is set to be released on October 23, 2009 in the UK, and October 27 in North America.

New Era Interactive Software, the distributors of Guitar Hero and Guitar Hero World Tour will be distributing DJ Hero in Malaysia. It will be releasing on the 27th of October as well.

It will be available in all formats: PS3, Wii and X360.

The software, this time around will be from Region 1 unlike GHWT which was Region 4.

To give a rough idea how big the thing is, it will be slightly about the same size as the Guitar Hero regular guitar bundle.

The normal edition comes with the turntable and the game, while the renegade edition comes with the following:

* DJ Hero Game
* Renegade Turntable Controller featuring premium metal controls and finish
* Hardshell Turntable Carrying Case that converts to performance-ready DJ stand
* Exclusive JAY-Z and EMINEM 2-CD pack featuring unreleased tracks and collectible case designed by artist Shepard Fairey
