been using BOLD for a while...however it's a company balckberry so not much can do with it....just usual email, web surfing, gps etc....cannot even download softwares coz block by IT policy....
however bold is great coz it runs on 3.5G....thats the advantage if not mistaken....
been looking to buy myself a Curve 8310/8320 for personal use though...

guym - I'm not a phone salesman la.....some more all the info is probably already out there.
actionkamen do google - you'll find a lot
if yo're a noobie - try this site - quite good for phones (you can use the filter on left to find particular products)
http://asia.cnet.com/reviews/mobilephones/Lowyat net is also useful.....
http://forum.lowyat.net/MobilePhonesandPDAsAs a user, BB Bold is best looking Blackberry and has everything, HSDPA, GPS, Wi-Fi, camera, nice clear screen, bigger keyboard, trackball interface can be quick to use.
Not so good - earlier batches were a little fragile (think they're ok now), battery consumption is higher than other BB's due to features, screen looks small after using iPhone.

I think BOLD has more advantages...anything touch screen looks classy but when driving susah mau operate. I hv a Bold n you can operate with one hand..two better still.

I'm using maxis and no problems so far - it was the first provider to introduce BB services and response times are good.
if your organisation has an account with either of the telcos speak to your people to see if there is a corporate deal.

i think both provider has proven track record. it's just the matter coverage. might caused by some coverage disruption, maintenance etc.
thanks for sharing bro. will call them now.

I called two separate BlueCube outlet just now. Pavilion and Sg. Wang. both giving different price (shouldn't it be the same??) Here come my confusion again.
BlueCube Pavilion
Corp Package = 188 plan, BB price RM1588, 1 year contract
Personal = 148 or 250, BB price RM2099, 2 years contract
BlueCube
Corp Package = 188 plan, BB price RM1888, 2 years contract
Personal = 148 or CE50 + Data plan, 2 years contract
of course they did mention about BIS, Data plan, CE etc. etc.
It look like I have to do more research

i think it will not work as most of the mobile applications have been simplified... perhaps you can ask Celcom Blue Cube

the 9700 onyx is different from the 9000. smaller like the newer curve.
battery life is slightly better but size is too small once you're used to the 9000.
the keys are better spaced on the 9000 esp for my fingers.
scoller pad also takes some getting used to after using the scroller ball.
feel a bit harder to use it for small movements. maybe need to get used to it.
guym - check:
1. it uses a spring loaded loading mechanism - just check card loaded properly
2. have you checked the card itself? any issues using supplied 2gb card?

Bro, to answer ur question, BB and Nokia comes with BB OS and Symbian respectively, i never heard any online trading software build to run on other platform than Windows, if it exist anyway, surely you will have to pay cause of the cost to build it, and also for the royalty paid to those OS, Windows so far, if one can code in binary, C, C++, VB, that is enough already, no need to pay Microsoft.
