Call me superficial.... part of the allure VW holds for me is its kickass super big VW brand logo on the front of the car. Super cool!! (like our Mitsu 3 bintang) If now rebrand INokom..... mana boleh??!!!!!

DRB-Hicom Looks To Marketing And Assembling Volkswagen Cars
PETALING JAYA, Sept 10 (Bernama) -- DRB-HICOM Bhd is looking at the possibility of marketing and subsequently assembling Volkswagen cars, said its chairman Datuk Syed Mohamad Syed Murtaza.
"We have been talking to the company but there has been no outcome yet," he said.
The talks with Volkswagen, Europe's largest carmaker has been going on for sometime now, Syed Mohamed said after the company's annual general meeting, here on Thursday.
He declined to provide further details.
On the pact with General Motors, Syed Mohamad said DRB-HICOM is looking at positioning itself for a new arrangement.
"We believe that General Motors is also engaged with other parties, so we are keeping our options open," he said.
DRB-HICOM recently denied a report that General Motors Asia Pacific Holding Co LLC (GMAP), a wholly-owned subsidiary of General Motors Corp (GM), had terminated an agreement with it for the exclusive distribution of Chevrolet vehicles in Malaysia.
"To date, the Joint Venture and Shareholders Agreement between DRB-HICOM and GMAP is still valid. It has not been terminated," DRB-HICOM told Bursa Malaysia recently.
This followed the publication of an article that GM had terminated its pact with DRB-HICOM.
According to Syed Mohamed, an exit by GM would not impact DRB-HICOM's business as the contribution from it was not substantial.
"It is very small," he disclosed.
GM is expected to make an announcement on the agreement with DRB-HICOM by the end of October.

It is the time where VW Malaysia will officially launched the 2 new model, Golf GTI Mark 6 and Scirocco. I wonder how will be the situation if the deal is done?.....
