Of course I told him something like "Aiya, let it be la... folks spend their own money however they like it ma... not your money wat... ".

My answer would be, why should I turbo a car,

when 50% of the gains are used (assuming 1.6XLi increase from 90whp to 170whp) JUST to overcome the power to weight ratio

and when top speed is restricted to 215kmh due weaker chassis

Because a lotta folks don't like dismantling their cars just to reduce weight. Because a lotta folks do not care about top speed but about acceleration/smoking at the usual 120-180KM/H range. Because topspeed limitation due to weak chassis is "forced upon" by manufacturers.There are too many reasons why someone contemplates turbo'ing their car. That wasn't my point.My point is why members here continually and repeatedly look down on, and denigrate, "wiralutions" instead of listening to Michael Jackson's hit song.It's not about gaining my friend's respect... he doesn't give a sh*t and I also take his comment in my stride.I think you are missing the point of this thread.

lalalala...who look down on wiralution...i just don't want they bang/flying/hitting into me car when they out of control...if go to JPJ confiscated car store...you see wat are the most common modded car available there...i answer to you la...WIRALUTION...KANCILUTION...CIVICLUTION(this one turboed vtec version)...lalalalala...reason kena confiscate...well 1st top the chart is the engine modified without permission...lol...

just hope when they modify their cars..they realise that that they also need to mod other parts too..if not they r just causing more accidents

yup...that's wat i'm worried abt...usually the cost to replace an engine will set them back like a bomb...then when it comes to upgrade the brake and handling system...budget ady run out...then opt to cheapo upgrade... but the major issue is the welding spot where they put the engine mounting...can crack and cause massive vibration to the chassis...and the rest is history...

car modification especially performance-wise is not just plug n play....it takes engineering knowledge to handle it...
when i saw a so called "turbo'd" wiralution,wajalution,kancilution, or even BMWlution, first thing trigger in my head is do this fella really knows what he has done to his car.....

last few weeks i saw wira with lgt spoiler i drove behind him when passing bkt aman. when last tt at gang conner saw i saga lution the new model i thought lgt but as it comes closer than saw the kontot body the realise it just a saga.

I'd take my hats off to those who spend effort and time in converting their ride. Like the Bimmer Waja or the Sagaru, very well done! Creative!

yeah like wira suddenly got turbo just like tat...it takes years before the turbo started to replaced the OEM engine...for me if mods exterior not an issue...the problem arise when those modder neglect the safety aspect of the car due to budget constrain...i dunno la if got some rich bugger with lots of money and nothing to do buy a wira and modify it kaw2...if you know any maybe they modify it to enter some local rally race...i have saw so many this converts flying at the concrete wall...one main reason is out of control...why out of control...too much power to handle...chassis gave away...lalalalalala....i rest my case here...

Imagine how many Lancers will get turbo'd after 3 years...?

i dont mind they want the to rocket to the moon with they mod but come on la we all road user. i respect all the road user dont be rude la because it reflect ur self. i actually wanna thanks 1 kancil female driver for her hard work reminding me to swich on my headlamp. but yet again u have car i also have car so no point showing off. i also like to see mod done by our member maybe can share. what we must have having alot of friend to join this great club. we all smoked that car yet again this car smoke u. then bla bla bla.......... never ending story. i start enjoying slow driving so i can use minimum petrol letsay from klang to klcc i isi rm10 saje with my car cukup pergi balik. i think what rev try to ask us to do is lower our ego that all. im not side rev or anybody. just giving positive opinion.chears

I, once, drove with my friend inside an Evo8 and we stopped at traffic light next to Wajalution, and guess what he said?

"Just be yourself, waja is still a waja.."

Depends on how ppl interpret his statement, but for me, its a humiliation to that guy, I said that because i imagine if im the one inside that waja, i will not even look beside me when i already realize the real monster is just next to me.

It's not wrong to be creative, but it's really a humiliation to be a copycat.

A car is just a piece of metal on wheels, I don't care if it's Wajalution, Wiralution or Ferrari.... it won't and don't deserve respect. Respect is accorded to the one behind the wheels.

Respect is earned depending how conscientious the driver is on the road. Like some bro has pointed out, it is hard to respect people who modify their car with no regards to safety issue. Afterall, everyone share the road.

On the other hand, it's nobody's business how the car owner wants to modify their external looks. It is their prerogative. But then (IMHO) it does baffle me why some owners are so 'ashamed' of their ride they have to rip out their car logo and replace it with something else.....

Spotted this purple coloured Evo X / Wajalution at Eagle Ranch resort last weekend. Its one of the best modded waja around i guess. Waja Club had a small gathering ~20 cars there.

Nice wide body with 18', huge intercooler with large exhaust. A lot of LED jobs. Not very sure with the car's power though.

I purposely drove close to it and snapped another photo. Hehe. Wajalution tapau my stock Lancer in all aspect leh..cosmetic/power..etc.
