check out the video, i wonder what the police driver was thinking when he decided to race????? tak kena saman ke??? LOL

But what's most important is WHO is inside the car. I was told they are a team of 3. One driver (professionally trained), one commando (i think), and one SNIPER!!!!

some one also made a comment, saying the car is 3.0 and all...customized in US. Okay... but what the h*ll?? SNIPER ??? why the h*ll would a sniper be patrolling the streets...prob to aim at the tyres of those driving ferraris' and lambos'...hmmmm
eldiablo
arvinder, glad your tag is now RED! thumbsup.gif

its not clear from the video why the driver drove fast and its a short burst of speed - anyway police got right to drive fast. those idiots in H dont.

since you are not sure of the purpose of the police team and who is inside the car its not fair to speculate if its right or wrong but I'm sure when you come to TT it'll be a fun discussion....
onslaught
lalalala...i read some of the comment...some of them really don't know nothing abt the police evo X car...talking abt lambo and stuff...this is an example of noob driver...baru dapat kereta mau try sama polis...maybe some bloody rich punya anak VIP...bila dah kena tangkap baru nak nangis kat mak bapak mintak jamin...masa bawa kereta main2 ngan polis tak hingat dunia...lalalalala...

try coming to western TT, will get you the chance to ask the evo driver itself... ahahah..
onslaught
yeah...come to western tt...maybe can ask bro iban...lalalalala...one of the malaysian PDRM evo X driver...
ZooL
i don't think it is really fast, probably ~150kmh.. sape2 pun boleh kejar & claim such statement..
anybody can spare their time to calculate time/distance from the video...?
Koonx
every1 has got different "feel" for "fast"...
to me... it's dumbo to chase a police car, no matter wat car it is...
AGM
The police is dumb enough to speed on a public road without its flashy and siren on. Talk about setting up good example for the rest of us...
medowance
Well they too need to push the engine to certain limit once a while but that Duke to Duta toll road if not mistaken is quite nice to run at :D
mitsui_seeker
These fellas driving Integra wanna play play with PDRM, so dangerous. If I'm not mistaken, did they horn at the PDRM upon reaching the toll plaza..haha!! sweat.gif

bro.... if u interested i can arrange for u to meet in person the EVO X real jockey....then u can get more infos u need...:)

EVO X squad is not ordinary police that u can find in police station or polis cari makan or watsoever...they are special force that contribute a lot without many of us knowing it Let just thanx to our G for creating this squad that becoz of their presence in highway and public scares off many criminals...i cant say much but they r UNSUNG heroes without u noticing it...

lets be neutral about it...I supports G if they do they right things....:)
a308
agree with bro M7....
poknik
hahahha...like M7 mentioned that the Evo Squad is diffrent breed of drivers hand picked by PDRM...their missions are diffrent from what the ordinary patrols cars.

dont worry, the evo x wont chase you down for speeding or for not wearing the seat belt. they are more interested for the 'high profile cases'...they presence currently to create fear to the bad guys that we have the tools to take you down...preemptive or pschology kind of thing lah...

why the X decided to main with the Honda? it shows that these people are approachable now...not that serious and probbaly to win the public's heart with new branding...

why we have to be negative if somebody is trying to be friendly?

AGM
Cannot be neutral when there's a solid video proving that a police car was speeding on public road without proper justification. It doesn't matter who's driving. Plus, it's more like the police officers who sit in a canopy (in PJ area) 24 hours a day under hot sun light and rain and mosquitoes bite that actually help the public feel safer. This speeding police car doesn't. Not like I drive very safe myself but a police is suppose to uphold the law not to break it.
AGM
Not saying I'm totally against the police but I believe the government should put in more effort in improving the security of our societies. Just last week an Ipoh member got his car broken into during heavy rain and lost many items including a DVD player and GPS device. The window shattered, front panel all scratched to h*ll and the interior flooded. Another Ipoh friend got his Type R robbed under gun point inside his own house at 4am. Then a few BMWs got robbed and stolen. We all work hard to improve our lives but it's taken away by people who don't work. Every country has its crime rate but in our country it seems to get worse year after year. Something needs to be done. Police should spend less time catching good people (like putting up senseless roadblocks that check road tax or catch speeders) and put more effort into killing bad people (like those who harm other people either financially or physically).

Anyway, I think I'm way OT already. Just sharing some thoughts.

Bro AGM, get chance to know the real PDRM evoX ..then u'll know..cheers

They hv their Standard Operating Procedures...They need not on the siren if they want to sneak behind you. Only when they want you to stop or in an emergency then they on siren and beacon lites...In this case ...that actually is not a fast drive especially by EVO standards. The funny thing about the video is the cameraman and driver chased the car approaching the toll...How fast can the EVO go...

ninja.gif How sure are you that he is breaking the law...If he is really speeding and hitting the speed limits..then we need to charge the car taking the video...maybe he too is speeding. Let's not speculate.....and as I said b4 who really knows their speed..especially approaching the toll...Are you an expert in Speeds of Cars taken from a Video...You must substantiate with proper qualifications Bro...I myself hv a Diploma in Driving from Sweden BUT I dare not speculate their speed judging frm the Video..Even if they speed it is their business on how they want to chase cars..with or without the siren or beacon. A Br thumbsup.gif otherly advice.

one comment after watching d video........my eyeballs can't stop bouncing up n down...
ok i m talking about eye'ball's k? dirty fellas............

Personally i kinda disagree wif AGM's statement....
It is theoretically true that police forces should set up good example n not speed on highways/main roads...
but in reality it does not happen that way...

we teach our kids not to swear or show middle finger or say 4-letter-word but we do that all d time...
doctors oways ask patients to stop smoking but many doctors continue to smoke...
we oways condemn government for something they din do well but when they did something well we say it's our right to get it as citizens...etc...

Personally i don't find that video clip offending at all.....
the only offending part is d bouncing eye'ball's ... yes.gif yes.gif yes.gif

bro its not like that...

good things we take.... if something not good or bad then we dont follow it....

tell me the truth even ourselves never follow simple rules.... speed at 110km/h at highway.... u think all lancer members here drive that speed?...not to mention the 80km/h speed area...if u know y u break it?....and how many times u get a ticket/summons compare to ya daily speedings?

so y we wanna jump when we saw EVO X is speeding...they got their own task...who knows?.... and some more... that DC5 car or watsoever chase the X coz they think its fun.... i wanna see his balls shrink to peanuts size when the really see X in action chassing criminals...

we are normal people...we do mistake... and if we dun rely on police for safety reason/ to protect...who else we should refer too?....

as i said be4....they r human being like us.... dun expect them to be robocop or SPACE COP GABAN

IMHO, it is attitude like these guys chasing Police Evo X (and bragging arrogantly "...mana ada orang main dengan Polis weii...") that WILL ENSURE OUR ROAD FATALITIES STATISTICS TO INCREASE...JUST LIKE THE RECENTLY CONCLUDED HARI RAYA AIDILFITRI SEASON.

Seeing how arrogant these Police Evo X chasers are, I wouldn't be surprised (AND TRULY PRAY THAT) THEY'LL BECOME A ROAD FATALITY STATISTIC IN THE NEAR FUTURE verymad.gif HONESTLY...WE CAN DO WITHOUT THESE IDIOTIC DRIVERS ON OUR ROADS killed.gif

AND IF THESE POLICE EVO X CHASERS FEEL THEY ARE SO GREAT AND EXPERT DRIVER HAVING BEING ABLE TO KEEP UP WITH A POLICE EVO X (WHOM I THINK WAS ONLY DOING 10% OF THEIR ACTUAL CAPABILITIES), WHY DID THE CAMERAMAN CHICKEN OUT BY BRINGING HIS CAMERA DOWN WHEN HE WAS SIDE BY SIDE WITH THE POLICE EVO X? COME ON LA...IF YOU WANT TO FIGHT LIKE A MAN, THEN, BE A MAN FIRST...NOT A MAN WANNABE.

They got lucky this time around...but I pray that their arrogance and egotistical attitude would ensure that they don't live to see the year 2010 and beyond suicide.gif

biggrin.gif My beloved Bros and Sistas of LGTC...I'm profoundly touched and most appreciative of the support from you all in disapproving the conducts of those Police Evo X chasers...indeed I cannot deny that I'm p*ssed off with those jokers gambling their luck with the Police Evo X.

In any case, sadly, this is the reality with a certain number of our driving population. Not every Malaysian drivers are like this but only a handful. The problem, however, is that these handful's conducts' unintentionally compels other fellow roadusers to behave almost like them if not exactly like them...so that they don't get left behind or stuck in traffic...a case in point...most queue jumpers do so because they were so patiently law abiding in the beginning only to see some idiots jumping queue followed by some other motorists behind these idiots. As a result, the poor law abiding driver cannot resist the pull of the Dark Side to not get left behind and subsequently jumps queue him/herself. Of course there are also those that remain strong and does not succumb to the Dark Side and remain patiently in queue no matter what the circumstance...I salute this select few thumbsup.gif

In relation to this video clip...while our Bros & Sistas are entitled to point out their respective views, I have to say that what our Skuad Helang did in this video clip is indeed DEBATE-ABLE. There will be some of us that may agree or disagree with their conduct but to me, the main issue in this video clip is the attitude of these youngsters'.

From the little that I know, the big difference between the conduct of the Police Evo X vs DC5 (if it is a DC5) is that while everyone think s/he can drive fast or able to attack corners, NOT EVERYONE CAN NEUTRALISE A VEHICLE THAT HAS LOST CONTROL/TRACTION. This is where the pilot in the Police Evo X in this video clip has been trained to do...that should they in the unlikely event lose control/traction of their vehicle, they are able to neutralise the situation in such a way that their vehicle will get away unscathed or if damaged, only minimally ONLY TO THEM BUT NOT TO OTHER ROAD USERS.

In the case of the DC5 driver, from the way he holds the steering wheel, neglects his brake pads (and possibly a frequent braker as opposed to engine braker) and manages his gearchanges, I doubt the driver of the DC5 in this video clip is able to counter his vehicle without causing damage to other road users. I have no qualms about idiots like this wanting to drive like the way he did, but please do so in a enclosed road or circuit whereby if they should lose control of their vehicle, they'll just end up hurting or killing themselves AND NOT OTHER INNOCENT ROAD USERS.

Admittedly, even our LGTC drivers do have our bursts of fun and joys during our drives and convoys, but whenever we do so, both our Marshalls and Sweepers have religiously ensured that our convoys are isolated from other road users during those moments of bursts. As what Bro RGT788 rightly said "...life short, enjoy la...don't restrict others or yourself too much"

Another point that I wish to raise in relation to this video clip...WITH THE EXCEPTION of certain corrupted PDRM personnel, if we cannot learn to respect PDRM then how are we going to even respect one another? To some people I maybe wrong in saying this but nevertheless, in relation to this video clip, to me, the conduct of the individuals in the DC5 is PURE DISRESPECT to the PDRM.

Err, Bro Mild...re your suggestion tu, you are right Bro...tapi I suggest Bro Iban be the pilot 2410_batting_eyelashes.gif

Oh... I think Malaysian can respect each other without respecting the PDRM wink.gif biggrin.gif

I think this video isn't a big deal.

Disrespect happens a lot in Malaysia.

You actually hate your boss but you agree to what he wants anyway. That's being disrespectful to him as well as yourself.

You buy pirated movies at pasar malams. That's being disrespectful to yourself, the Malaysian law, Malaysia as a country and the actors of the movie(s) you bought.

You bribe police officers, if you can, when you get flagged down. That's being disrespectful to yourself, the Police Force and Malaysia.

It's life for The Common Man.

What's the big deal here?

Ha Ha Ha...betul lah tu Bro Johnjack thumbsup.gif ...sadly this is the reality of our lifestyle in this country...we know it's wrong to do the things we do from day to day but we are compelled to do so in order to not get left behind.

Another valid point Bro Johnjack pointed out is that, after all, this is just a video clip...no big deal. He's right. It's no big deal...just a video clip. Nevertheless, no harm analysing it constructively. Who knows, there may be those among us or our children that may become a better being in this world as a result of analysing this issue smile.gif

Err, Bro ArvinderGill...I'm not with PDRM but I used to work with a consultant firm that conducted defensive driving lessons for them and the Malaysian Cabinet Minister Drivers in the early 90's. With the exception of using hi tech gadgets and electronics in current times, the basics of defensive driving, chasing criminals and surviving being chased by criminal/assailant remain the same biggrin.gif Most of my friends in PDRM from those periods are now either retired or nearing the end of their active service. Sorry OT a bit...Bro ArvinderGill, I'm sorry to hear about the damages your car sustained as a result of some irresponsible motorist. It's easy for me to say but as far as possible, take your time in attending to the required repairs. As Bro Jaguarah advised you, perhaps, you bargaining power would be better after the festive season is over. In any case, I'm thankful to hear that your damage is nothing structural. This will ensure your ride's safety features are not compromised.

For the majority of folks, it's not about getting "left behind". It's about "This is the way it is, it saves me money... so why not?".

Kinda hard to ignore history, I guess. It's like a disease.

It takes a brave person to go against the flow, to show (simply to him/herself, if anything else) that going against what is deemed "normal" is, indeed, not out of the ordinary.

Takes an open mind :)

It's not an issue. Chasing an EvoX PDRM and filming it isn't all that fantastic IMO.... we all wanna just have some fun, going after cars that are obviously more powerful than ours :) .

The PDRM EvoX crew in the video prolly knew about the DC5. But their priority prolly was somewhere else at that time. On any other day, if the DC5 had exceeded the speed limit, that EvoX PDRM may have just tried to pull that DC5 over. Normal thing :)
onslaught
i don't think so they will stop the DC5 car unless the car is suspected for serious criminal offence...if like speeding...they rather leave it for the traffic police to handle it...the helang putih squad is established for other purpose...they are not normal policeman in uniform...
