My beloved Bros and Sistas of LGTC...I'm profoundly touched and most appreciative of the support from you all in disapproving the conducts of those Police Evo X chasers...indeed I cannot deny that I'm p*ssed off with those jokers gambling their luck with the Police Evo X.
In any case, sadly, this is the reality with a certain number of our driving population. Not every Malaysian drivers are like this but only a handful. The problem, however, is that these handful's conducts' unintentionally compels other fellow roadusers to behave almost like them if not exactly like them...so that they don't get left behind or stuck in traffic...a case in point...most queue jumpers do so because they were so patiently law abiding in the beginning only to see some idiots jumping queue followed by some other motorists behind these idiots. As a result, the poor law abiding driver cannot resist the pull of the Dark Side to not get left behind and subsequently jumps queue him/herself. Of course there are also those that remain strong and does not succumb to the Dark Side and remain patiently in queue no matter what the circumstance...I salute this select few
In relation to this video clip...while our Bros & Sistas are entitled to point out their respective views, I have to say that what our Skuad Helang did in this video clip is indeed DEBATE-ABLE. There will be some of us that may agree or disagree with their conduct but to me, the main issue in this video clip is the attitude of these youngsters'.
From the little that I know, the big difference between the conduct of the Police Evo X vs DC5 (if it is a DC5) is that while everyone think s/he can drive fast or able to attack corners, NOT EVERYONE CAN NEUTRALISE A VEHICLE THAT HAS LOST CONTROL/TRACTION. This is where the pilot in the Police Evo X in this video clip has been trained to do...that should they in the unlikely event lose control/traction of their vehicle, they are able to neutralise the situation in such a way that their vehicle will get away unscathed or if damaged, only minimally ONLY TO THEM BUT NOT TO OTHER ROAD USERS.
In the case of the DC5 driver, from the way he holds the steering wheel, neglects his brake pads (and possibly a frequent braker as opposed to engine braker) and manages his gearchanges, I doubt the driver of the DC5 in this video clip is able to counter his vehicle without causing damage to other road users. I have no qualms about idiots like this wanting to drive like the way he did, but please do so in a enclosed road or circuit whereby if they should lose control of their vehicle, they'll just end up hurting or killing themselves AND NOT OTHER INNOCENT ROAD USERS.
Admittedly, even our LGTC drivers do have our bursts of fun and joys during our drives and convoys, but whenever we do so, both our Marshalls and Sweepers have religiously ensured that our convoys are isolated from other road users during those moments of bursts. As what Bro RGT788 rightly said "...life short, enjoy la...don't restrict others or yourself too much"
Another point that I wish to raise in relation to this video clip...WITH THE EXCEPTION of certain corrupted PDRM personnel, if we cannot learn to respect PDRM then how are we going to even respect one another? To some people I maybe wrong in saying this but nevertheless, in relation to this video clip, to me, the conduct of the individuals in the DC5 is PURE DISRESPECT to the PDRM.
Err, Bro Mild...re your suggestion tu, you are right Bro...tapi I suggest Bro Iban be the pilot
