my boss car got stolen this morning from his house in damansara heights. toyota fortuner, silver. plate WRS 3806.

watched the CCTV from the neighbours (boss house got no camare's). the dudes came in a black honda civic (latest model) at around 3.38am. parked 2 doors away and drove the car out off the house at sharp 4.00am............ they managed to twist the keyhole for the auto gate. don't know how they managed to start the car.

damm sad seeing the car being driven away.........

couldn't see the people involved coz it was too dark, or they knew where the camare's were. very high profile area with security ronda and such. first time car being stolen in that area.

Just be carefull. always keep a look for stange people around your housing area.

oh yeah, on top of this my cousin's iswara aeroback got stolen in sunway on monday night.......the car is like 7 years old....why the h*ll they want it. Plus the iswara was parked in between 2 lancer GT's (both are my friends). the 3 of them went to makan that night.

sorry to hear that...toyota and honda...too hot to handle...always got hot demand...how on earth they shipped the car away?

this housing area has it all and they still berani man............

we're talking about houses with s class, beemers, hummer, skyline and 4 doors away this guy just bought a gallardo..............

so u guys get the idea of how high profile this housing area is...........

yeah we do get it...the thing is...they aren't targeting those beemers,skyline,and gallardo...it was toyota...the brand where they can sold anywhere in this world without looking suspicious....if suddenly some one offered a gallardo for half price...do it sound weird somewhere in the line? and how many people could afford to buy and maintain a gallardo...
just my 2 cent...if happen your boss do install GPS in his ride...maybe he can get it traced...but i think the thief ady know how to disengage the GPS...

Bro no offence taken, i know they won't steal the gallardo. The reason i put those range of cars is just to give an idea on the neighbourhood......what kind of area it is.........even with that fact they thiefs still got the balls to do it...........

i guess iswara is more valuable than GT...

To be honest when a thief really wants to steal ur car there's really no stopping no matter wat u do...
Toyota's on d top of car theft list in Malaysia....
Reason? infinity of them running around on Malaysia roads...very easy to sell/ strip n sell d spareparts...
If i m the thief i will oso go for d toyota instead of d gallardo

Iswara's easy to strip n sell as well, i guess that's d reason....
or our LGT security too good d thief gave up....
on a serious note it's kinda good to drive a relatively 'rare' car cause most thieves won't be eyeing a car that's a bit more difficult to sell....n easier to track if got stolen...

I live in DH but there's only a Lancer GLS and one really old Proton Wira in my house, LOL.

But yeah, nowhere is safe these days. My old SGTi was broken into three times before. And I was parked directly outside my front gate some more!

Could b inside job... Some1 told me tat toyota cars' immobilisers r coded locally by umw... got umw workers bribed by car theft syndicates, giving the syndicates the decoder. tats y toyota is very hi on car theft list.

still worried as thief nowday is educated.

quackmole, bro wasn't "seeing up" wei..........i meet like half the people who came out to see what was all the fuss was about........ datuks, datins and a judge..........who were comparing what they have to what was stolen........ very nice bunch of people.

one datuk even asked me to come in for a scotch while waiting for the cops........at 9am!!!!!...........damm nice guy

Hmmm, I think the rumor is true... umw toyota security is compromised, vios, camry, hilux and fortuner are easy targets to car theft syndicate...

tat y dun buy hot cars like toyota. buy mitsubishi, lower risk :) cbu also :)

POLICE arrested three suspected carjackers along Jalan PJS 10/11 in Petaling Jaya yesterday.

PJ district police chief ACP Arjunaidi Mohamed said: "The men spotted a Toyota Camry, which they suspected was stolen. When the policemen tried to stop the car, the driver sped off."

Upon reaching Jalan PJS 10/11, the men realised that they were heading for a dead end. They then tried to hit the police car and the policemen fired at them.

The men got out of their car and police arrested two of them.

"One of them tried to run away and hide in the area, but he too was arrested," said Arjunaidi.

No one was injured during the 11.30pm incident.

He memang like the new pajero sport, but tak power lar........he prefers something with a beefier engine......... u keluar pajero sport with 4.0 V8. sure he buy no questions ask.............

wah... max now is 3.5 v6... but no plan bring in now. market too small for petrol car :)

no need 4.0 V8 lah... modern turbo diesel 2.5 V6 is oredi quite powerful, ofcoz 3.2 V6 will b even better
