On the 22nd of November 2009, LGTC together with Rotary Club of Damansara West held a charity drive (literally) to take the orphans from the Pertubuhan Kebajikan Anak Yatim dan Miskin, Gombak to a visit to Putrajaya.
LGTC members met up at Petronas on MRR2 before heading to the orphanage to have breakfast and to pick the children. Then they convoyed via MRR2 and MEX highway to make their way to Taman Warisan Pertanian in Putrajaya.
There the children and everyone involved got a guided your of the park which showcases local fruits and plants. After the tour, it was time for lunch and the children were treated with ice cream and cup cakes by the members.
The children was also given a goodie bag each courtesy of Pelikan which was full of stationaries and books.
After a group photo, the group then convoyed to the nearby Masjid Putra for prayers and after some photo shoot, the group headed back to Gombak to send the children home after a fun filled day.
