my experience...

Story A

Location: Normal Road, KB-KT
Rival: Satria (Turbo)
Traffic: Medium Heavy
Time: Day
Road Condition: Dry
Tested: Overtaking and pickup (not top speed)

A fine day for me to travel from KB-KT alone, felt sleepy, play round with the paddle shift to overtake the traffic, but some how one silver satria follow so close at the back... so decided to try the GT power.. change back to manual mode.. go for 2 gear (40kmh)... then.. the gt shoot like bullet.. overtook 3 cars + 1 lorry in one shot.. that satria seems far from me for a while.. maybe that guy underestimate our NA GT...

then the satria overtook me again.. i got no balls since the traffic became heavy with lorries... let him tru... then.. when come 2 lanes area.. i tekan lagi... manage to tail him close... then.. once got chance.. shift down to 2nd (30kmh).. waaa.. during this gear.. the car felt like crazy.. the handling quite shaky.. (if rim is smaller.. maybe can whell-spin maa..).. then overtook him..

then...all the way that guy tailed me.. until reach KT area (sultan mahmud bridge) then i let him pass and that guy horn me.. and showed THUMB UP... me then also salute him for a fair play...

really suprised with my GT...

Story B

Location: Normal Road, KT-Kuantan
Rival: Perdana V6
Traffic: Heavy
Time: Night
Road Condition: Wet + Rain
Tested: Overtaking and pickup (not top speed)

Now time for perdana V6.. that bro really wanna test my gt... but this game not so long since traffic heavy with buses and road was wet after rain...

started when that v6 tailed soooo closed... then that guy o/took me... so near.. aiseh.. ni macam kurang ajar sikit... then.. apa lagi.. change to "evil" mode with paddle shifter... i chased him... but our Yoko so good tru water... no shaking... but not so crazy driving.. then suddenly we were slowed by heavy traffic.. 3 buses + 1 trailer... then.. i think its time for me to smoke that fella.. downshift to 2nd.. and 3rd.. all the way.. untill last vehicle.. 4th... then.. zoom zoommm.. byebye v6... but then.. just gentle cruising only.. not all the time become evil rite..hehehe...

Other story: short one... i test on hiway LPT... damm fast la our GT can clock 170kmh.. that just only 5th gear meh.. got 1 more gear to shift..then suddenly my wife punch me.. hehehee.. i think if shift to 6th..can reach 200kmh easily... but 2 be honest the top speed i tested just 180kmh only... really got no balls wooooo..takut woooo.. but i can hear my GT said.."bro..push me harder bro.. push me...ahhhh..." dammm horny car mehh... she loves to be pushed? aiseh... pelan2 kayuh la..hehhe.. we just married what.. virgin meh hhehhehe..

on top of that.. during karak hiway.. wallauweh.. the GT so stable.. didnt felt body roll at all.. even conering @ 120kmh... really satisfied...

oh ya.. another funny story... civic 1.8 FD wanna test also meh.. (diff catagory meh).. malas may cerita laa.. waste my time meh.. hehehe.. standard auto 1.8 wanna test 2.0 with 155ps + 199NM + paddle shift huh? hmmmm...

last word... drive carefully n put more patient in u since all boy races out there always wanna tail us n test us..

i felt no regret at all (forget bout plasticy dash, forget bout sluggish startup, forget bout noise, forget bout those gud bout civic).. and know what.. after that 2 session... (milage clocked 2000km)... really wanna kiss my ride babe... love my gt...

THE BEAUTY WITH THE EVIL BEAST INSIDE. .... our butt so sexy what.. hi butt like that.. not flat n saggy hehhehe...

Wah lau eh...the way you describe reminds of world war two fighter pilots encounter. I can imagine the way you changed gear, the sound of reving engine, the oncoming cars, your Rev needle going like crazy, the sight of your finger paddle shifting, the sight of GT at your rear mirror, ......just in time to re-enter the lane before the next Shell tanker slips past! Hahahhaha......too imaginative lah me...but i do not want to trash my car first now, clocking 870km today. Already giving me reminders to service schedule.

I still remember driving my Proton Saga 1.3 when i was doing sales in Kuantan 4 years ago. When i dropped to third gear and come out from the lane, the Shell lorry in front sudah dekat already, then my balls shrunk and masuk lane semula!....hahha...those were the days...

hmmm... this time i'm really dont understand la.. even myself was ex-waja... but managed to estimate my waja capability.. but this silver waja.. with GT wing n full of skirting.. really cucuk me from behind... then when he overtook me.. so not friendly mcm mau test la.. takpa.. then i let him pass... that time we were cruising @ 160kmh... aiyya.. my wife already sms me.. "dont race!!" hehehe... takbley tahan mehh.. then i change to evil mode..with paddle shift.. down to 5th gear ... it was 170kmh... cucuk that waja.. boleh tahan jugak his waja can mantain @ 170kmh.. then i potong left side meh.. until reach 200kmh (my personal record).. then no more wajalution..only waja.. hehhehe.. left him very far..until saw from my mirror..so tiny that waja..maybe he dont wanna chase ..or dont have NOS..or..lesson learn... heheheheh...

but the best part then.. after a clocked that 200kmh.. in coming vehicle gave alert..hi-beam.. so of speed trap.. then slow down.. @ 110kmh.. yeappp... really got speedtrap.. km180++ (KL-KT) near gambang.. so be carefull bros...

wah..have to clock at 200km/h meh? I think 190km/h enought to smoke him. hehe

But does feel that there is more room to go when you hit 200km/h?

sooner performance of our lancer GT will be recognized by majority, then there'll be no more challengers from honda, toyota gangs.....but "high end" challengers like ferrari, lambo, asto martin, bugati, golf gti, scobby, lancer GT's "tai ko" (EVO).....heehhhhh

takpa... once receive surat cinta.. if the speed trapped at that time is 200kmh... sure i'll paste it here meh hhuhuh... and frame it.. considered official time keeper sponsored by PDRM hehehhe...

200kmh... basically.. i lost my balls for a while... but make sure the road is smooth enuf.. since our gt quite high... but i think the spoiler at the back really helps la.. the aerodynamic so good...

this fella really drives like crazy... left hand side overtake ceess... biasalah.. change to evil mode.. chase him.. until 170kmh... then let me left hand side overtook.. it was 180kmh... then... ok la.. me slowdown.. but that fella still drive like crazy.. dunno what his showing of.. but ok la.. me sudah satisfied.. enuf la..

btw.. me really thinking to test our GT at track.. let say sepang ka.. hehehe.. but with test drive car provided by MMM la... not mine hehhe...

but really la.. there a lot of room 4 improvement... with 100% stock.. can give me that kind of performance.. aiseh...so satisfied.. after this.. mod on exhaust.. ecu.. suspension.. etc...

Kisah benar? Today is the exactly third week i got my Lancer. I don't know why, but suddenly the car feels very powerful leh...suddenly 80km, then suddenly 100km/h...i have been very light footed(as i was driving a Proton 1.3 manual all this while) for the past three weeks i guess. Now getting use to the car.

I have been pushing the car at almost 110 in the cornering jucntion from NKVE to Sony Damansara toll plaza. Never been doing that before.Previously, i felt like ejected from the seat. Now, i felt like in TOTAL control man, excellent braking system, excellent road holding.

Ya... Upgrade from Wira 1.3 will definitely feel more ummph when driving the new Lancer GT...

I can remember when I upgrade from my wira 1.3 to my current ride, I also feel very ummph... Cruising at 140km/h like cruising at 80km/h on my wira... however, this feeling doesn't last long... U need to keep on modding your ride only can sastify your desire!!! haha........ cheers........

guess what i'm upgrading from kancil 850cc...imagine what will the GT do to me...

yep yep it is but i have experience driving 1.5 iswara and wira yet most of the time drive the kancil.

used to be a ganas kancil driver when i was in penang...hehehe...that's the way to drive in penang

Guys thought i would give you my 2 cents worth from my test drive
yesterday of the new LANCER.........

i could some it up........like jeremy clarkson...RUBBISH

it is an EVO10 with a perdana engine in it and taiwan rims

1. i loved the lines of the car.....its very sleek and is more upperclass
and continental, with a front that looks like the old Galant, a side that
looks like a volvo and a rear thats looks like an Alfa.

2. interior finish is almost like a gen2......and is very plain n
bland...nothing to shout about.

3. engine on our test car sounded like it was mixing cement and looked to
me like a it came out of an early perdana.

4. mind you it comes wit 18 inch rubbers so with all that weight the car
hardly moves and only gives you power towards the end of the rev counter.
(6500 redline)

5. the 18 (which make so much road noise) help with the handling but the
stiff suspension leave the ride stiff and thundering
Overall for the price of around 120K i would rather buy a used EVO7

hahhaa.. bros.. pity on that guy.. evoX with perdana engine? wahahha.. perdana use 4B11 meh? with all aluminium blocks? 4 pot engine producing 199Nm tourque? + 155ps?

rubbish or not rubbish depends on how the tester or user.. says like "old paper" somebody would say it is rubbish.../ but if u know how to make use of that "old paper" can turn to money mehh...

is that guy know how 2 use paddle shift or not? or afraid to test.. all the way auto mode hehehhe.. auto mode for town driving meh...

GT = fantastic sport machine.. not ultimate.. not turbo-loaded-like-hell machine.. not excillent-FC-like-hybrid-car machine... not as comfort as bently... but its really value for money (as compared to c*v*c) and fun to drive.. the power is there whenever required.. just know how to use it...

last nite... on my way back from Ktn-KT... paka area.. got 3 rivals..

1) civic FD 2.0 (reg no TAK 88**)... 4 the first time ever..me felt so satisfied..so sayang with my GT... really wait for this moment.. can imagine .. double overtaking.. that FD overtake 1 car.. me overtake both hehehhe... (like the FD was sandwiched) ..after that the FD wanna chase..but..hmmm.. sorry la bro.. my GT still at 4th gear.. got another 2 ... so bye2.. just see the headlamp smaller n smaller.. hehehe.. this proved that our GT so fierce on mid n top rpm..

2) PV6 (eterna turbo la sure..) .. this one no need to story la.. if mivec turbo or GSR still can try..but eterna.. full stop here... dont waste your fuel la.. damm fast la eterna ... takpa2.. (wait for my 4B11T coming in 5 years.. hehe.. )

3) savvy..what? yea..savvy... this car fast oso.. that guy really wanna play with my GT la.. overtook me..slow.. overtook me slow.. SOB!!... but his car damm lowered.. but to be honest.. the way he drives really dangerous.. so let him go.. me just stop @ pump station buying some goodies la.. no need to play with idiot like that... further more the road is somewhere near the brutal accdent recently (civic ferio crashed to in coming car..)... call it a day la..
