First of all, Terence, i do not know where to place this topic since it is not a manufacturer problem
I want to share with you all about the potential abuse to our GT.
Elsewhere in this forum i have shared with you how the kling kling klang klang metal sound comes from the rear wheel suspension. The sound is really loud, and i thought i was driving a very old car. I was planning to write a complain letter to MMM.
Anyway, i took to the SA in TLMAC Shah Alam. They checked the whole damn thing, and they were very surprise to find out that there are two nuts holding bracket to the suspension. (loosening of these nuts will cause the car to wobble and the hitting of the suspension to the car chassis!) Previously when checking the dashboard, they were also checking and tightening all screws ( i had an occasional sound of klop coming from the suspension) They tighten the two nuts and now my car is as good as new!!! They said it would be quite dangerous if i have drove high speed, cause the car was not stable anymore.
They asked me whether i have parked in any highway restarea or not. The thing is i have not been travelling at highways forthe past one month( except when i parked my car at the military museum in Port Dickson)
According to their experience, they had a Triton that came in and complained that the whole black oil was compartment was thrown out on the highway when driving. Fixing on the spot by some call men/ tow truck was RM700!!
Perhaps our GT gives an impression that every driver is a kaki lari. That is why they try their luch to loosen the nuts, and see whether they will be called or not. The SA said that my is not the first case. Its very easy to loosen it, just bend down, and place your hands underneath with the right spanar, and loosen it at your time and will!
TL MAC was helpful, very very helpful. Although they were closing, all of them, 5 of them mechanics gathere around my car to determine the problem!! No complain, no showing of face at all. I am changing my ATF cooler there!!
(the klop klop sound is still there, but only for a while everyday, which is not my concern now)
Lesson. You may want to see where you parked you car next time.
Lesson. The GT is still a good car.
Lesson. There are some crooks out there trying all types of ways to earn money, even at the expense of endangering some other lives!!!
Lesson. A CBU still rocks. Only some jokers who try to sabotage the car!

I will keep an eye to the driving condition of my car. If, and if there is sound coming from the suspension after this, then i know it's from office. Perhaps someone green eye seeing me drive new car.
(but i don't think ordinary people know where to unscrew the nut to make it unstable)
These people are damn celaka.
I heard some of these people pour black oil on highway as well. Few years ago i heard a story where a family was driving a Proton. Then suddenly the glass broken and the son was hit in the eye by a ball bearing. The family went straight to one of the private hospital emergency department. The ball bearing went into the boy's eyes!!!!!
They suspected it was some ball bearing shot by some tow truck guys hiding somewhere. Perhaps these celaka guys wanted to break the glass and create panic and a small accident. But then again imagine the boy have to leave with that nightmare!!!

I also find it interesting that our Lancer's suspension subframes are actually bolted to the chasis, instead of welded. The plus is, this will be like rally racing, subframes can be replaced quickly and easily after collision; the minus, the bolts can be loosened, due to human intervention or usage/wear over time.

Yo bro bro and sis sis reading this,
Just to share with you. Do not have to be over-afraid of all this, if not, it will rob off our joy of riding the GT!!
Just becareful where you park. Don't leave it for too long especially at the rest area along the highways.
I always park my car where there is a lot of public (so that thieve or sabotaj won't be able to do their bad things) and that i can have a direct view of it.
