Side profile looks the same as out GT just different front lights, backlights and bumpers... From the front looks like our current Waja tongue.gif

Front lights...errgh. Back light still ok... looks like LED type

They get 7 airbags sad.gif

Interior looks classier with the 2 colour scheme + wood. They even get Sat Nav...

Hmm...if they had launched this version of the Lancer, I doubt I would have booked it tongue.gif
pakcikjahat
the interior is quite good, but the exterior compare to our gt is that our gt is better... hehehe, but this type of car concept more towards luxury, not suitable for young blood....
xberia
Would buy if they put the interior + all air bags + GPS head unit into our GT. I just don't like the uncle outlook.
Er me ? ...an uncle also....

Taiwan Lancer Fortis is a local CKD Taiwan.

If we get this version, I will go for other cars down.gif
kenny
erm...not sporty enough if compare with our GT =P
donyong
I would buy the Camry instead..waiting for the 2.4, Dual VVT-i, CvT spec. that hopefully will come in 2008
princess
why does other countries get more airbags than for malaysia? is it because our accident rate isn't high enough or just isn't gruesome enough?

Just to keep the cost down i guess. Civic has more airbags than GT, and the price is higher.

Becoz our life is less worthy .

in fact, msia always too lenient with the safety regulation on road. thus all manufacturers will take out additional safety features from our car so that they can save on cost, liek ESP, ABD etc. in Singapore Lancer EX GT gets knee airbag as well. but our one, only 2 airbags...
alxand_mitsubishi
all thing comes with a price... to be competetive, we had to sacrifice soemthing to gain something, we loses couple air bag then cruise control then HID then power folding side mirror...for me at this price, it worth it, while air bags save life other r just nice to have, n since we're in bolehland n if the lancer does come with more airbags n priced same at civic, most of us won't be here, right, so i 'd say, the strategy does work out good, only tat we're facing stock problem. which is indeed an issue, first respond is too good, factory is not in full scale n supply globally hence we suffer stock problem, n new year thing will be smooth,
though we'd problem of stock, but i'm relieve we dun face serious quality problem... so to all i hope u guys will be patience n we can row this boat together
Unforgiven
I like the rear lights but don't like the front at all...

Have been trying to spot the new Lancer here.
Almost 30% cars on the road are Lancer of all ages.
Drop by one the Mitsu dealer ship.
The Mitsu here is called Lancer Fortis 2.0.
Front looks like the past Model Camry and rear same as the GT. Looks more VIP.
Cream and wood interior (VIP set up).
Rating 157ps/6,000rpm & 20.9kg/4,250rpm
Comes with HID +AFS

Ooops....sorry. Missed the post.

Will be here from 16 ~ 24th.Nov. Meeting aftermarket parts suppliers.
Have been looking around for performance parts for the Lancer GT but none so far.

Just met a tuner with his 2JZ Supra engine loaded IS200 (Altezza). Dynoed at 650bhp.
Will keep posted if I come across any.

Ryan,

Are U talking about the blank double din? If yes, I will chk for it as Mitsu dealer is across road from my apartment.

Btw I found race brake caliper + floating rotor (332mm) special made for the Lancer GT.
If LAncer Club members have no's, we can order direct from factory. Price about RM4,200.00 (cost exclude ship n tax in boleh land). It is a 4 pot aluminium 2pc caliper with 2 pc rotor.

Performance brake pads also available. Temp range 680 celsius.

Thats what I dont understand ...blurr. Many yellow colored Ploton here 2404_worship.gif
Majority Plotong engine have been changed to 4G91, 2, 3 (mostly turboed).

Taiwan is left hand drive hence no JDM. They buy re-cond USDM higher spec cars like the one I am driving USDM Mazda Millenia-S V6 supercharge (200bhp).
