ya i did. that one much more expensive :) i found out that the rf only works with the higher range remote so total would have to pay > 1K+...
i bought this set at USD 78+ b4 shipping. shipping is about RM 82-85 (for 1 kg package) <-- but i bundle with other things from US since the remote + base is less than 1kg. assuming i didnt bundle with anything i would have paid about RM 350-370 for this including shipping.



ya retail price is that but as usual most online store sell cheaper (USD 80 - 140). it was about 40%+ off at amazon so i ordered it at USD 78++




haha nolar cos... i'm only have 1 astro b.yond decoder on the ground floor. so i need to change the channel from the other rooms ma... so with this i can change it in any room without having to point it to the decoder on the ground floor. :)

i tot u say ppl paying for stuff for so much $$$ is big SH? when u can actually pay only rm5 when u buy from pasar malam...

ryans, coincidentally what you posted was what my electrician showed me.. i remember he told me the price of a few parts (hundred/s each) then i said "nevermind la" haha. but then again this laregely depends on how many switches u want to replace - how big the house is every room including plug points etc... takan half the switch is this then some others is the normal type... :)

i'm using http://www.full-flat-switch.com/ it's for aesthetic purpose only. no special function like remote or Smart Home system. also if we buy that sure ppl call us SH. hahahaha

honestly all these integrated stuff is damn convenient....but trade off btw price n convenience u want

actually the zencelo also not the most mahal...simtone lagi mahal and clipsal punya metro c........

also i think key thing is your personal preference on the design/colors. my new neighbour owns the simtone shop in puchong bandar puteri (http://simon.com.my/contact.html). they said can gimme discount but after looking at it didnt suit my taste la.

the c-metro is nice. i originally wanted to get that one but decided on a flushed zencelo instead. the c-metro has blue led so i think thats the cost added.
