although more expensive than LGT, but still no paddle shift.. make me still loving my LGT.. mauahhh
and the gear console very the 80s fashion....ops sorry for focus lover...
Agreed the interior is quite dated looking but the dual zone automatic digital a/c helps a bit
I've read a few reviews of this car, and they all say the same thing, daily drive leave it in 'D', sporty drive also leave it in 'D'. The manual shifting might actually not be useful because in low gears with all that torque it hits the rev limiter, one even said to leave in 'D' until higher gears then only go to manual.

early torque is nice! but too bad usually for diesel its ends too early...just like your are about to orgasm then suddenly gone...

I' ve driven this new gen diesels before and it never seemed to run out of breath, imagine doing 120km/h in top gear at 2000rpms only and you floor the pedal, it actually pulls like it was in 1st gear, before you know it you're way way above the speed limit. If the gearbox is good you'll never seem to run out of power. You can actually leave it in 5th from start to end on the highway, even if down to 60km/h in 5th it'll still pull like no tomorrow

hehehehe...timing is important...massive torque good for overtaking and short sprint...which is more relevent on city driving...but for me i love the diesel part as it is cheap and roadtax cost abt the same as petrol...and one full tank can give me abt 1K KM mileage which is good for long distance traveller...lalalala
i'm really interested in this...maybe place a booking end of this month...let see how it goes from here...got any ford focus forum/club in malaysia ke? hehehehe
at 1.80 and super mileage, the running costs are reduced massively.
yeah me too really tempted to book, plus small things like Ipod integration, telescopic steering adjustment.
