Officially to use Facetime ( apple's videoconference ) not only on wifi but also iphone 4 to iPhone 4 only....BUT there is nifty little software that can trick the fon to think that its on wifi using 3G. So you can call to any other fon.

Now I don't care anymore la Whitey. As long as the phone is better than my HD and it's available like...now. Yeah if I want the IP4 I need to be a little more patient. Unfortunately I'm not a patient guy. Furthermore, tangan dah gatal to get a new phone. My radar now is on the Desire.

Ter, are you on maxis? which plan did you subscribe? I called Maxis just now, the 3GB data plan will cost me RM88/month. My Q, is 3GB enuf for a normal internet user (read online paper, update weather, stocks, FB and stuff). And does it have GPS app?

Just read some of the user reviews for both phones and can conclude that:
1. Samsung Galaxy S triumped other Android phones in term of hardware, but the software implementation can be improved
2. HTC Desire may not be the speediest or fully-equipped Android phone but the software is top-notched, very user friendly, could be their work with Google on earlier Android phones.

Just wanna share my predicament n joyful news.

With the hype fr LYN people r ordering the phone through apple Singapore,I made my order on 5 august.shipment supposedly by 27th n receive by 30 august.until 20th I haven't receive any confirmation email until 23th I receive email fr apple ID proof team.now I know why till then I didn't receive any confirmation email.

The I'D proof team call me but at that time um at prayer.after prayer try to call them many times but wasted 10+minutes of waiting.then I email my Malaysian ID no,IC n credit card billing address to them.

Until 26th I didn't receive any email fr them.on 28 I receive confirmation email fr apple saying my new delivery date is 23th September.WTH

so yesterday I'm in no mood to get thus phone.I even email back to I'D proof team saying I'm disappointed bcoz of them my delivery is further delay to additional 1 month n ask them to cancel my order.ady frustrated.

Dunno what kind of miracle,suddenly today receiv email fr apple my phone to receive by 1st September

Shah, i sold the phone to a member here already.

for me, the line not as stable as 3GS or 3G or even 2G.

but the retina display is unseen for. its reallt that crystal clear with no pixel to seen.

but the speed, personally, i find that 3GS somehow faster. i not sure, just personal feeling.

the phone is defintiely very much executive look. once u got hold of it, u will find 3GS and 3G look like a toy.

the volume button, not as good feel as the old ones though. but small issue.

the on/off button is bigger and much 'pop' up and easier to on/off the phone.

noise cancellation works 200% perfect on iphone4. the caller can listen to yiur voice clearly even on speaker mode.

the charging port, much difficult to poke it than 3GS.

thats abt it, i guess, lol

Axe, IP4 is not a good phone... feel free to offer me ur price for IP4. as long as below RM1.5k, i might consider it... lol!!

Thanks bro. I did play with it when I was in HK last week. But of course I cannot make calls using the shop's display unit. That's why I asked for your feedback. Yeah I agree, IP4 gives an executive look. Didn't notice the other fine details as laid out by you.
