Among the free maintenance parts that come with this offer includes Engine Oil, Oil Filter, Fuel Filter, Air Cleaner, Brake Fluid, Coolant, Differential Oil and Transmission Oil (based on recommended scheduled service). This program is offered on top of the manufacturer’s 3 or 5 years warranty (depending on vehicle model).

Current Mitsubishi vehicle owners will also have something to cheer about with the price reduction from 10% up to 80% on a range of genuine Mitsubishi Motors parts, which makes the ownership experience more affordable than ever.

“Introduction of the 2-Year Free Maintenance and Parts Price Reduction programs demonstrates our commitment to provide owners with complete driving pleasure of a Mitsubishi vehicle. p/s: so SC should give the 10% to 80% discount for current Mitsubishi owners....can somebody who serviced their car this month confirm??

me ady go to the SC to change some parts last monday...sorry to say...got no such discount on the parts...they only give discount on labour...

i asked whether got discount or not...the SA said no discount ma...when reading your post...i felt like cheated ady....d*mn it...

yeah...need to check with MMM back...i think the SC didn't recieve the memo yet...dunno la...this management thingy...but they should 1st check with SC before announcing this publicly... create confusion among car owners...

If there is no black n white statement on wat to discount the SCs can do watever they want...reality is cruel....

i was unaware abt this promotion when i was at the SC...but i just duly asked for discount...lol...and suddenly this came out...so i dun blame the SC la....just becareful and read abt the promo carefully on wat is the discounted parts...but still the SC did give discount on the labour...so in the end i do get something for opening my big mouth...lol...

Did they mention when this will take effect? it sounds like 1st may is promo for new cars.

I heard they're trying to bring down labour rates too to help make it even more affordable as well....

may i know what are the differences between this and the previous?

firstly, price difference.....
secondly, ours is 3 years (to be exact 2.5 years) free service and maintenance or 50,000km whichever comes first...
but if u drive more than 20,000km per year i think the promotion now more worth it....

not fair to me..i bought mine on sept 2009..only got labour free...parts, oil, bla..bla still got to pay. :(

dont get angry. Its not mitsubishi's fault. It just SC stategy bisnes plan. They will putar belit 2 get extra margin. For selling car they only get 4% profit only.

juz checked with SC glenmarie for 10k service...nothing much different...still rm3XX.... only 15% less for oil filter...others no discount...

i only get 2 bloody vouchers for free service charge on my next two 10k. This is free maintenance for 2 yrs??? big difference wei

the earlier get 1 year free labour, 1k 10k 20k kms... new is 2 years free service maintenance, 1k 10k 20k 30k 40k km, parts n labour...

no body at fault, it's promotion tat changes from time to time, we can't blame giant sell apple rm 10 for 10 piece n tomolo rm 5 for 10s... :)

jangan marah... it's norm in the world of sales tat promo changes from time to time, it's just MMM strategy to get more sales as they r trying to maintain 1k units every month, with bigger sales volume, car comes in at better margin n we get parts at cheaper price... tat's y part r at discount also :)

MMC should revise back ler...1st the new face lift price increased for more than rm5k and we only get free labour? ahahhaa!!!
2nd thing...when the facelift came up...all bank give us 3.5 interest...i bet the older version got less then 3% interest...

Mitsuputih, U should accept the truth that U bought the car at wrong time (when importing cost is high, global economy recession, weaker ringgit & higher interest rate). One basic rule when buy car is make a market survey.I want to buy new car since 2006 when new civic come out. But keep hold as I know interest is high, no additional promotion & lancer will come out later. I buy lancer rather than civic bcoz it cost me less & lower maintenance cost due promotion, value for money for 2 litre car. Interest rate also low just around 2.0-2.5%. Ringgit also stronger than yen when I bought lancer. After that economy recession.

Currently, Ringgit is the strongest asian currency compare to last year. That why MMM can afford to give free maintenance again although they still keep same price. But who know? If ringgit maintain good, they maybe lower the sale price or give big discount in next few months..
Business is business, mana ada rugi.. Rasanya keuntungan MMM skrg lebih besar lg dr masa dorg mula2 keluarkan lancer dulu kat msia walaupun ada pelbagai promo.

Altho i bought my LGT at the first initial price (RM115980) but my interest rate that time was 3.8%....compared to some who bought the ride earlier at 2.3% i oledi rugi liao.....but this was rite b4 the price hike to RM122980 so i took it without 2nd thoughts.....no regrets till today lo...

increase of price is never intended as informed, but due to sky high yen, all car price went up, especially with low margin on lancer hence 1st step, no free service then price increase, but in 2010, since yen is low n rm is high, they can afford so free service come back, n this can be seen when they start bring evo back unlike earlier where it's book then order from japan, now i think evo readys tock liao...

onslought...i have no issue with the clone lancer...im going to be the 1st person to book a unit for my wife...then i will trf everything from lancer to clone lancer... ehehhee!!

guys, it just that im not satisfied with MMM promo game, they must not only focus on profit, they must try to retain us to become their loyal customer...so they must buy our trust, to get our trust, give us fair and square benefits la..

u guys ok la...free ori parts, so maintain je...me kena pay for my own...so really2 not worthy and their ori parts mahal...example, with rm7X per spark plug, better change to HKS.with their rm9++ for cvt fluid, dah boleh masuk torco CVT fluid, much2 cheaper kat spare parts shop.

regarding protong clone lancer...me oso no issue...my warranty long gone ady...so me no need to go to MMM SC no more...hahahaa...i had been liberated from the capital system of MMM...lol...

mine still new la....will still go to SC untill my odo meter reach 40k....warranty issue...after that surely cari bengkel bawah pokok...

bro...planning to convert to manual after slaying this CVT to death...if not got no reason to change...mau tolak pun sapa mau angkat lor? simpan kat rumah buat semak je...bukan tukar manual je...me wanna change the whole engine and put in 4B11T...right now my mission is to whack this CVT kaw2...but it seems that this CVT is quite tough to crack la...hehehehe...

Hi does anyone know how many KM is this 2 years free service worth? I mean im sure they T&C will state 2 years free service or XXXKM (whichever comes first) I heard its only 40,000KM.

Can someone confirm this?

Also, is it illegal to have the front no. plate at the side of the bumper instead of the usual place?
