well..i have been using communicator 9300i, E71 and BB.. so i have been a big fan for qwerty keyboard rather than touch screen.

i do have an intention to use iphone but i will buy it for my second phone.. play with the thousand of applications available in the market. but for now... BB is my choice.. why?

1)It is suitable with the demand of my work- emails, BB messenger
2)BB also blend with the image that i am trying to reflect- confident, professional and committed to my work
3)i think BB is a complete tools for communications

I believe starting and moving the car...that's quite possible with the said hardware placed on the car's dashboard. But opening and closing the door????? How on earth can a device simply put on the dashboard make a car's door open and close without having some additional hardware and or mechanism attached to the door links/hinges to enable it to open and close as displayed?

I'm not saying that it's impossible but, something doesn't make sense with the door opening and closing function. Nevertheless, assuming it really is true, it is indeed a cool application

There is Facebook and Twitter app for blackberry too but think that browsing is easier on touchscreen and got Apps that take advantage of acclerometer for iPhone. Don't think there's bberry w accelerometer. Some android handsets have it too.

This afternoon played around with HTC Desire ( Android ) for about 30 mins at KLCC cos they have a booth there doing promo. A very handsome set I must say...nice to hold and the screen is awesome. Surfing web using 3G is a breeze and this version of HTC can do things like iPhone ...maybe better ?? Those who are with Maxis Value plan MUST top-up suscription for Data plan and you can buy the phone for a subsidised price of RM1,499

The only reason why I keep my BB9700 is that it last 2-3days between recharge on my usage pattern. Its dull...

I tried the iphone once, but got so engrossed with the screen and apps, it simply eats batteries for breakfast. Couldn't last throughout the day.

I suppose I can make it last if I follow my BB usage pattern, but then, why get an iphone if all I wanna do is call, sms and look at my schedule?

The iphone is evil. If it last 2-3days AND still let me indulge the screen and apps...may be worth a rethink. Right now, I just can't be bothered to recharge everyday.

my personal point of view, iphone are more on entertainment & multimedia oriented. BB are design for business purposes. I'm using BB bold, decent phone with all necessary feature. not too fancy....probably i'm old man.... ....anyway, BB push mail are great! Correct me if i'm wrong, BB push mail are controlled by RIM server, and not pulling by handset. For instant, RIM server will scan our email periodically to retrieve for any new email, and will push to our BB handheld. For other phone, the handheld unit will scan the email account in preset interval to retrieve for any new email, and this will drain off your battery faster, compared to BB, that can last for 2 to 3 day with the similar function.

beside that, i' using my BB unit as 3G modem connecting to my laptop, and the speed are great. anyone tried using iphone as 3G modem on laptop, mind to share?
