The Mitsubishi RVR has been launched in Singapore known as the ASX smile.gif

It is retailing there for SGD119,988 including COE.

I guess, it's just a matter of time before it is launched in our beloved country thumbsup.gif Of course, Bro Alxand must be facing a hard time to keep all this info a secret until MMM's official launch ninja.gif

As far as Singapore is concerned, it is a FWD vehicle 2.0L CVT unit. I wonder if Malaysia will be getting the AWD unit? thumbsup.gif

A first for standard issue Mitsubishi family car (except for Bro Pod_killer103)...Push Engine Start/Off 2410_batting_eyelashes.gif And oh the car is so so frugal even in Petrol guise thumbsup.gif

I have a funny feeling, once MMM bring in this car, provided the pricing is right, it's going to be COTY for its category/class and if the whole package along with the price is right, it may even by overall COTY just like what the Lancer GT achieved 3 years ago woot.gif

What's this KERS technology?

like F1 last season punya technology...derived from braking power...somehow turned it into acceleration power when needed (to overtake)... ermm.gif confused.gif
DefyPhysics
Cool, really wondering what will be the price factor...seems like it might be positioned at CX7 level

Don't worry guys and gals...the RVR will arrive on our shores soon. Understandably, Bro Alxand is not at liberty to comment anymore than he has...i.e. easy to drive, easy on the instalments and doesn't come with KERS. So it shall arrive on our shores...just a matter of when. I'm not surprised it is undergoing homologation formalities at Putrajaya even at this moment.

Pricing, I don't think it's going to compete with the CX-7 as Bro Defyphysics' educated guess. Based on the pricing in Singapore, unless MMM decides to do some pricing blunder, I believe the Malaysian Spec RVR/ASX will be around Toyota Camry 2.0G or its directly expected rival Honda Stream RSZ i.e. around the RM150k-RM160k mark.

It will be the ideal companion Mitsu die hard fans would like to add to their Lancer or those moving on from their Lancer.

Bro Skadi...if you are interested in getting one, do wait. I'm sure you'll be handsomely rewarded with this beautiful car as soon as the bookings open. Perhaps, you may even be the pioneer RVR/ASX owners soon thumbsup.gif If you do, don't forget to liase with Bros Terion/Seamaster/Koonx to link the RVR/ASX with LGTC smile.gif

I believe the RVR/ASX is going to be another Mitsubishi's success story since the LGT/LGLS. So, keep in constant touch with Bro Alxand. I'm sure when he is permitted, he'll provide you with all the necessary details to assist you in purchasing the RVR/ASX, if the price is right thumbsup.gif

For now, he is not at liberty to release any other info on the RVR/ASX other than that he has already informed above smile.gif

Agree with you Tango. RVR got the look. I really like the proportions. Reminds me of my trusty Kembara. Only difference its got the edgy feel. Been checking out the JDM picture on Paul Tan. Really good stuff....
