My friend's KIA Spectra has gearbox problem and is thinking to get a new car, instead of fixing it. She is thinking of Suzuki SX4 or Peugeot 308.

Then I remember reading some bad comments about 308 somewhere in the forum, something to do with the wheel alignment etc... So I said, Mazda 2 lah, easy. But apparently she doen't quite like it.

What would be nice with a budget of RM80k~RM90k for a single lady?

if can wait longer get the new proton WALAN soon going to be launch...with full specs....sure bang for the buck....but now get the NAZA forte...very good specs...

Mazda 2 isnt worth the price. Better comfort, performance and resale value, better go for City or Vios

Suzuki Sx4 is a very underrated car.
get the hatch for its cheeky looks.

good acceleration and handling, fuel economy and decent price for service and parts.

alternately look at the forte which has a really good package at that price range.

mazda2 hatch and fiesta are also worth a look at. 308 has a bigger interior.

Swift would be a great choice or forte.

in my mind, i never like Swift or Vios. City i only like the latest model...

BUT, since bro Tant already mention that she's pretty, proton satria neo cps will be good for her. and then modified a bit to increase the power. then surely can smoke stock LGT anytime...
but neo cps is only RM60k++. maybe not good enaugh for her standard. but a small and sporty neo cps sure will look good on a lady...

if you compare only these 2 then the 308 has got the upper hand in size and Sx4 has got upper hand in crossover looks and slightly higher seating position and probably lower running costs (no idea about 308 costs). like the Red colour shade on the 308 though. personally if go for 308 maybe Turbo version would be good. the pickup is very nice!

saw the Ford fiesta at midvalley today - like the cheeky looks and interior looks quite nice too....

Spoke to her about 308 Turbo (after reading it in another thread http://forum.lancerzone.com/index.php?showtopic=9192 ), she is very keen.
