I saw one Black LGT yesterday wackhing SIC !!!

Anyway juz to share my observation tailgating the Black LGT for bout 2 laps at SIC...

I was driving a Civic VTec...and from behind LGT looks damn nice hahahaha oppsss sorry...the car handling was superb..attacking all the turn at SIC...the car is still stock if I'm not mistaken...stocks wheel somemore

Very stable at all turns...despite the sluggish CVT so called...kinda of hard for me to overtake the Black LGT...damn impressive with a stock car that could race at SIC ...

Last but not least...to the owner...nice drive dude

oooo yaaa yesterday bout 100cars turned up at SIC for Sunday Track Day...

Errrr when can we arrange our own Track Day ??? Committee ???

Its has been discussed, but some members feel that the tyres will be all worn out after a few laps... unless we all can share to get some semi slicks and change to them when going on the track

He has 1 set of old 17s which he plan to use but maybe cant due to brembo brakes of the type r........

hmmm how much thread u think will wear off for some spin at SIC? 10/20/30% it's a good activity anyway, only sendiri tanggung, no insurance :)

not sure on our "SOFT" compound yokos but Des told me his friend waja or wira, only 2 laps of SIC and the tyres all botak already...

we tried on PG circuit years ago. within an hour (plus pit stop). all botak... expensive sport

no he didnt come to the soft launch i think... but ya he is a member, des and I met him by chance when we were at Tom's Stickers! There was where he joined officially... now I remember the side plate...

Better we send a congrats msg to him 4 his gd showing n next time he visits d track, do inform us, so tat we can go n support, n mayb interested members can take a run....

LancerGT is a member here, but that not his car, his car using selangor plate number. (accidentally his GT also black color)
And Bro LancerGT also the Terato member, same as black lancer owner in the picture also a terato member(but not sure if he already LGTC member.) Read from terato forum that they only meet up during that track session

Really impressive. I suppose if you are going to SIC it's probably a good thing that the Lancer doesn't have stability control. Anyway I've always said that the Lancer may not have the best power to weight ratio or the best acceleration but because of the stiffer and generally better platform its handling is superb. So for those people thinking of modding the new Saga with fancy spark plugs, air filter and turbo to get some phenomenal power to weight ratio they can forget about beating a Lancer when it comes to handling.

Just contacted bro mentibang, according to him the tires about 2mm finish after he was through the whole track day.

but he also did mention that the tyres started to lose grip after about 1.5 hours on the track due to heat. He can't remember how many laps he did in that time... having too much fun!

The tyres were ok after a 20 min rest though...

so guess its not so bad on the tyres afterall.. shall we plan for the next track day?

Need to ask him what are the procedures to have a track day there or any1 can help organize this and we go and give it a run.

Bro just wait for open track day........sign the form disclaiming SIC and bring your own helmet then can PECUT alredi!

My fren went with his GEN 2 last time.....Tire quite fast botak....more than 2mm i am sure....

Bro i think march dont have coz they close the circuit for F1 preparation........

And on their schedule they only have 2 designated track days in June and Dec.........

Where got whack SIC tayar botak laa...

I'm using AD07...hantam 40 laps (for 5 track days) tyre left 60%...so on average per track day 10% rubber burn laa

Anyway..there won't be any track day till F1...not sure yet..most probably after F1 maybe in April or May

Will put it up in d events section, think the next track day will be in June 08 as informed by bro Economist. Check at events section for track day, will hope to c all there.

B4, track day. check car, increase air presssure in tire to reduce tear on side of tires.

PLease let the car rest after a few laps, and continue after.

After track day, go for car inspection to for checkup.

Tire wear, not as much as gone in a day, can last for a few track days as mentioned b4.
(used michelin tires and bridgestones on tracks b4, so i know a bit)

the tayar botak thing i heard from des, so not sure la maybe that car alignment or camber is out so makan more or something...

first thing i wanna try handling on track and ok la for stock car ..about tyres, b4 i masuk track i and my fren check the tyres and after hentam lap tak ingat my fren check back the tyres and they said 'tayar ko nie lebih kurang 2mm'... my fren said la... i think maybe more la but tak nampak sangat bunga makan...
last lap my lancer pusing 180, lose grip... tension and go back home

I guess it is a good way to finish the noisy tyre and get a new set by burning them on SIC
