Job Overview:

The Team Manager - Pricing Strategist is responsible for the efficient operations of the Deal Operations Center ("DOC") ensuring that all pricing maximizes profit while fully adhering to compliance obligations and meets developed SLA's for responsiveness and maximizes win rate. Coordinates activity of Pricing Strategists within the DOC to support field sales teams. Leads and provides guidance to Pricing Strategists and ensures skills are continuously developed. Provides manpower recommendations and schedules resources to ensure optimal support coverage. May assume the role of the Senior Manager, DOC Pricing Strategist in specific situations.

Job Responsibilities:

· Recruit, hire, and mentoring Pricing Strategists for development.
· Ensure Pricing Strategist team maintains expert level knowledge of HDS solutions, product components, pricing requirements and compliance regulations.
· Provide training need definition and articulation for Pricing Strategist development plan
· Ensure Process (SOP) documentation, monitoring and improvement
· Understand and become proficient in the use of any and all HDS pricing reporting tools both internal and external
· Have the ability to be a self-starter with proven experience accomplishing goals with little direct oversight by maintaining absolute accuracy and attention to details.
· Effective time management with ability to work under defined timeliness, multi-task oriented while keeping the Pricing Strategist team informed. .
· Assist with the early adoption of new product technologies to maximize profitability.
· Ensure Pricing Strategist team is capable of achieving responsiveness SLA's.
· Ensure Pricing Strategist team is sufficiently staffed to support field sales needs during designated hours of operation including resource scheduling on the team leave, training and roster for designated shift
· Analyze statistics, trends, effectiveness and utilization of the Pricing Strategist team.
· Manage and report on a weekly basis the utilization of HDS funded Programs.
· Participate in Global Pricing Committee meetings to maintain awareness of HDS pricing strategies and communicate field pricing experiences.
· Conducting Pricing Team Weekly meetings to maintain awareness of HDS pricing strategies and addressing operational issue
· Participate in DOC Cross Functional team managers meetings to address any operational issue.
· Proactively communicate with Configuration Strategists and Pricing Strategists to uncover changes in requirements and to distribute information related to job, market or customers.
· Primary escalation point for operational issues within the Pricing Strategist team and performance monitoring & review and skills development plans.
· Advise Senior Manager, DOC Pricing Strategist on specific resource requirements and personnel issues that affect ability to support field sales activity.
· Maintain a close working relationship with Senior Manager, DOC Pricing Strategist, DOC Director, Configuration Strategist Manager, Team Manager- Configuration, Sales Operations Management, Field Sales Management and Finance colleagues.
· Assume role of Senior Manager, DOC Pricing Strategist in specific situations.

Description

The Configuration Strategist provides pre-sales configuration support within the Deal Operations Center for all HDS sales representatives in APAC / EMEA. Maintains expert level knowledge of HDS solutions and configuration requirements (hdd type, cache size, software, etc.) to satisfy customer needs. Works closely with field sales and other Deal Operations Center personnel (Pricing Strategists, Finance) to achieve responsiveness and configuration accuracy SLA's. May assume role of the Configuration Strategist Manager during specific situations.

Qualifications

A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred.
Minimum of five (5) years experience directly related to IT systems and/or data storage issues.
Must have background or interest in supporting field sales personnel.
Prior SE experience is preferred.
Possess a thorough knowledge of storage industry and customer requirements.
Must have good understanding of HDS products and configuration requirements.
Must have good understanding of HDS sales support tools
Should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Senior Business Systems Analyst-001412

Description

This position is responsible for the support, suggestion and implementation of the business applications used to support business functions throughout HDS. This individual must have solid experience in Oracle's eBusiness Financial Suite, to support, help drive design, development, and maintain ERP system.


Core activities will include the support of eBusiness Financial Suite, daily activities will include end user support, configuration of standard applications, support for development of new forms and reports, and development of interfaces in and out of the eBusiness Suite.

Play a lead role in the support and improvement of Financial modules in the existing Oracle R12 eBusiness Suite application. Working with business subject matter experts, lead Financial project teams for the successful implementation of new R12 modules, rollout to the new Countries and enhance existing functionality. Work closely with key contacts in Finance to understand business process improvements and offer application solutions. Implement automated solutions through a formal software development life cycle (AIM) including requirements definition, project planning and software testing in a Sarbanes Oxley compliant environment.

The candidate will also contribute to production support on as scheduled 24x7 support rotation basis for period close. This position requires a high level of direct interaction with employees at all levels of the organization. Experience in formal software development lifecycle is required and demonstrated experience in Accounting and Finance is highly desirable. Knowledge of Logistics, IS, Sarbanes Oxley, workflow and integration of application systems and other core system interfaces is highly desirable. The business analyst should excel at requirements, design, scoping, risk and issue management and be adept at managing within a standard development lifecycle, utilizing quality management and control.

Job Function

Qualifications

Position Requirements and Skills
University degree in the field of computer science or information systems with emphasis on business interfaces, or business degree with IT minor or subsequent classes.
Proven experience in IT Finance related analysis, design and implementation - 5 or more years leading Oracle projects.
